So many thoughts 😵

B4 I dive in, I have worked full-time in tandem with #USPS for 4 yrs, so borderline expert status (assuming 10,000hrs req'd)

Topics on which I wish to speak
1) Job Opportunity
2) why no elec voting
3) personal elaboration

1A) if the #USPS is worried about a surge of mail-in ballots and they have dismantled their commingler machines (that's the technical name for the 'sorting machines' that the rpter was ref-ing) then why not pay out-of-work ppl a piece rate to act as commingler?

1B) weigh a bundle of LTRs as the #USPS drops the bundle off at the person's door, as not to count each separate LTR, so that the weight can be used to verify no LTRs went missing during person's sorting method

1C) have well established fees / penalties associated with tampering or losing any LTRs

But for every, idk, 10lbs of LTRs that a person sorts to #USPS order specs, they earn $X

Or ... Is the issue not really that USPS is short sorting machines 🤔

2A) if my bank trusts me to be actually acting as ME when I log into my banking app ... Why am I not permitted to log in as ME to do an elec vote?

Cuz honestly ... I prob put MyMoney >>> MyVote

Is it cuz there is not enough accountability to prevent voter pressure?

2B) news flash! Polling places (least in my area) allow posters and signs advocating for this candidate or that candidate ... Which pls correct if wrong, i thought was illegal 🤔

So I posit that I would have a more unbiased exp voting on my phone sitting comfy on my couch

3A) I gather that there may be some concern about the health of the #USPS based on a Tweet I saw the other day and now the above article, so i wanted to share some personal notes

3B) I cannot imagine a world w/o a #USPS as they do more than you may be aware

3C) Non-profs & charities utilize direct mail shops like the one I work for to distribute their snail-mail donation campaigns

In doing so, donations to those orgs generate bucketloads of jobs!

3D) Jobs that include, but are not limited to:
- Marketing / Advertising
- Sales Reps
- Data processors (like me! 😁)
- Industrial printer operators
- Various laborer positions
- Hand work experts

...

- oh yeah, haha, and some #USPS jobs to boot!

3E) Further, #USPS is the only way that fed orgs (like the #IRS) will contact you

Thus ... If you get a phone call from the IRS, 100% it is bogus and a scam!

3F) the #USPS may have gone the way of the typewriter for personal use, but for big corps and orgs, I don't think the USPS has anything to worry about

In closing, perhaps i have vastly missed the point of what has ppl concerned about the state of the #USPS

If i have missed the mark, my apologies😁
