According to the page, the noted was the action to be taken, and addition, “[a]ll schools either have been, or will be, retested from fall of 2018 to the end of 2020.” 
Is that actually happening by the end of 2020? A good question. I’m sure that we’ll hear a lot of hand wringing about actually doing this given #COVID-19.

With all of this in mind, if @NYCMayor & @DOEChancellor can’t get @NYCSchools ready for this school year after five years of effort for #LeadFreeWater - how can they guarantee an overhaul of ventilation systems over a period of less than two months?
Mayor de Blasio announced in 2017 that New York City is dedicating $28.75 million to install air conditioning units in all classrooms by 2022. You can read more at

If it was going to take this long just to put air conditioning UNITS in all classes, how is he going to accomplish a feat that’s even more difficult and requires SERIOUS renevations (including electrical systems that can’t handle HVAC) by September?
He can’t. I bring 160oz of water with me to work every day for my own consumption and coffee, because my drinking water as a teacher is not safe.
