So how do you do lean UX research at scale?
They spend a lot fo time coaching and mentoring other disciplines in the process.
- Build bridges not walls
- Use a common language
- Encourage learning v knowing
- Build leaders that build your culture
- Meet teams where they are
- Make data relatable
At a developer day they make rapid interviewing sessions where devs were able to speak with 6 customers in one day and move around the room.
They wrote a book called 'Customer-Driven Playbook' to establish a common language across all the developers.
During developer day employees are building hypotheses and learning instead of getting just knowing.
You need leaders who will upstream your culture of learning, and build a community of customers around you.
You need a set of tools that are flexible, usually already in use so that this isn't adding overhead to their work.
Data alone won't move people.
You need to build a narrative that employees can connect with.
They teach people how to tell these stories so they're enagaging.
A: About 100 customers per developer day.
