Voting during a pandemic? In person voting can be done quite safely. Proud to be part @randcorporation effort on voting in age of #COVID19. Final report here. This survey found that vast majority of Americans believe -- as they should -- that in person voting can be safe 1/
with proper mitigation efforts, especially social distancing. And while mail-in voting is safest route from pandemic perspective, any argument that voting in person is unsafe may suppress the vote and is counter to the public's sense of safety (and isn't necessarily true) 2/
