Then you would disown the book which rails agonist “kaffirs” and “polytheists” and calls them the “worst of creatures.”

Given that this is part of a religious belief and considered the “word of god” it is far more toxic and dangerous than a #CharlieHebdo cartoon.

I wish the absurd beliefs in eternal heaven and hell and “God’s only son” and “last prophet” were also taken as jokes and not taken seriously by grown men.

You can go ahead and find all the verses against kaffirs and polytheists in your book. Now imagine for a moment all those verses were against Muslims with "proper context." Would you not find these verses hateful? You need courage to examine this.

This is a good academic reference of all the verses against kaffirs and also their violent implementation by "true believers." So let's not spin away their effects. @waseemsayed

Banal words like "ever merciful" mean nothing. They are simply words. They'll be judged on their effects, not the spin. And the effect is barbaric invasions and slaughter, effect is Al Qaeda and Taliban and Boko Haram and #ISIS. It is terror, not mercy.

This is a disingenuous. The Taliban spent a lifetime studying the Koran. #ISIS leader Baghdadi was a Ph.D. in Islamic studies. Saying this is all "misinterpretation" doesn't help the #Yezidi killed and enslaved by Islamic zealots. You avoid the issues.

What if your "Holy Book" insults me? It holds me as "worst of creatures" as a polytheist. It insults my devas when it rails against "there is no God but Allah." It insults my guru and *your* Imām Mahdi. It kills Ahmediyas. You defend your own slaughter.

They mean nothing because the actions of those who claim to follow them are anything but "merciful." So clearly they mean nothing to all the brutal invaders on whose sword Islam was spread. Using them you mock the suffering of those killed, like #Yezidi.

Feel free to. But then don't go around claiming that you "respect all beliefs" and you "religion teaches you not to insult others" and that is why #CharlieHebdo is wrong.

Own your hate and bigotry. At least be honest.

It would be good if you can compile a list of all of the verses of "Allah's word" which are "invalid" today. Maybe even crowd-source it. Once there is a full list you can cc the Taliban and #ISIS & Boko Haram and Al Qaeda since no one sent them the memo.

Shouldn't your lessons about "peace and understanding" be directed towards #ISIS, Taliban, #AlQaeda, #LeT and so many other groups. They'd say you're bs'ing about #jihad not being valid today. Let me know how it goes—and do tell them you're Ahmediya too.

Hitler was a Christian Socialist.

Both groups try hard to pretend he was neither of those.

Hitler was born and died a Christian. His hate of Jews comes from Christianity.

He never repudiated Christianity. He sometimes criticized it as becoming weak. This is internal criticism, not repudiation.
Christians are hilarious, they don't even own up to their heroes.

Christians persecuted Jews in Europe much before Hitler. Pope Innocent III, mandated that Jews wear Yellow Badges to be seen separate; Hitler re-instituted that.

Hitler's "final solution" was to the Christian theological problem—of Jews not accepting Jesus as the Messiah.

Hitler never used the word Swastika. His called his symbol the Hooked Cross (Hakenkreuz). A Christian pastor translated that word to "Swastika" to hide its Christian connotation—propaganda and lies are the foundation of the Church.

China systematically demolished narratives of Islam and Christianity in China. It declared Islam a mental illness and made sure it controlled all Churches and Church appointments, only authorized sermons could be taught.

It colonized Tibet, inter-married, indoctrinated a Chinese-nationalist Tibetan generation.

India fanned separatism. It allowed false histories in Kashmir, separatism of language, promotion of Urdu and Persian script. It allowed mosques to preach hate and separatism. If it were acting like China, it would have outlawed Persian script and controlled every mosque and sermon. It would have taught the history of Islamic conquest and barbarity to every child. China can promote false narratives in Tibet for integration; India cannot even promote true narratives for what was always part of us.

Similarly in Punjab, India treated Khalistan as a law-and-order problem rather than a narrative war. It allowed fake separatist narratives to flourish. Rather than promoting scholars and narratives which show the unity of Sikhs and Hindus it allowed separatist narratives to flourish. What would China have done?

Same story in the North East. India gave a free reign to Baptist missionaries who converted the indigenous people and taught them to hate India. Separatism come downstream of that. There was no attempt by India to reverse the narrative.

The narrative soft war and the hard war must go together. If you ignore the soft war, you get stuck with constantly fighting the hard war. And the hard war victory will only be temporary tell the false narrative is overturned.
Absolutely, Dravidianism is another false narrative.

All great civilizations were bound by a common narrative. "Secularism" is not a narrative that can bind anything. Minoritism and appeasement create centrifugal forces which split the nation apart.

In this it is required that religions promote content for social harmony and interpret religious teaching and rules in line with China's requirements for development and "in line with traditional Chinese culture."

What if India said, mosques and Churches can only teach and promote what is in line with traditional Hindu culture of pluralism and teaching hate and separatism is a cognizable offence?Image

The A-rajak are non-ruled states. There is a Western fantasy of "egalitarian" society where all are equals with no rulers. (It's a fantasy because nowhere in the world it exists).

Well India tried it a few times. It doesn't work. It's where the word "arajakta" comes from.
