Then you would disown the book which rails agonist “kaffirs” and “polytheists” and calls them the “worst of creatures.”

Given that this is part of a religious belief and considered the “word of god” it is far more toxic and dangerous than a #CharlieHebdo cartoon.

I wish the absurd beliefs in eternal heaven and hell and “God’s only son” and “last prophet” were also taken as jokes and not taken seriously by grown men.

You can go ahead and find all the verses against kaffirs and polytheists in your book. Now imagine for a moment all those verses were against Muslims with "proper context." Would you not find these verses hateful? You need courage to examine this.

This is a good academic reference of all the verses against kaffirs and also their violent implementation by "true believers." So let's not spin away their effects. @waseemsayed

Banal words like "ever merciful" mean nothing. They are simply words. They'll be judged on their effects, not the spin. And the effect is barbaric invasions and slaughter, effect is Al Qaeda and Taliban and Boko Haram and #ISIS. It is terror, not mercy.

This is a disingenuous. The Taliban spent a lifetime studying the Koran. #ISIS leader Baghdadi was a Ph.D. in Islamic studies. Saying this is all "misinterpretation" doesn't help the #Yezidi killed and enslaved by Islamic zealots. You avoid the issues.

What if your "Holy Book" insults me? It holds me as "worst of creatures" as a polytheist. It insults my devas when it rails against "there is no God but Allah." It insults my guru and *your* Imām Mahdi. It kills Ahmediyas. You defend your own slaughter.

They mean nothing because the actions of those who claim to follow them are anything but "merciful." So clearly they mean nothing to all the brutal invaders on whose sword Islam was spread. Using them you mock the suffering of those killed, like #Yezidi.

Feel free to. But then don't go around claiming that you "respect all beliefs" and you "religion teaches you not to insult others" and that is why #CharlieHebdo is wrong.

Own your hate and bigotry. At least be honest.

It would be good if you can compile a list of all of the verses of "Allah's word" which are "invalid" today. Maybe even crowd-source it. Once there is a full list you can cc the Taliban and #ISIS & Boko Haram and Al Qaeda since no one sent them the memo.

Shouldn't your lessons about "peace and understanding" be directed towards #ISIS, Taliban, #AlQaeda, #LeT and so many other groups. They'd say you're bs'ing about #jihad not being valid today. Let me know how it goes—and do tell them you're Ahmediya too.

This is path-breaking if validated.

The IVC is Sanskrit script with Puranic references!
I will post explanations and queries from the paper. It uses a unique cryptographic approach to decipher the IVC script. More technical people need to do history. @yajnadevam

It makes the case that the script maps to a language, and uses regex to map it to Sanskrit.

BJP has a great fear of doing something for "their own" in case they're accused of favoritism.

So they consistently bend over to woo those who hate them and do very little for those who vote for and support them.

It's virtue taken to an extreme where it becomes its opposite.
Congress otoh starts its agenda on Day 1. It is very clear about its constituencies and its supporters and always takes care of them first.

The BJP is keen to appease the "opposite camp" instead and scared to do anything that might upset them. It doesn't mind riding roughshod over its supporters. They can even be killed, as in WB, and it won't act. Because someone could perceive it as "favoritism." It's a mental liability.

There are no "irreversible changes." Congress will change things the day that come back to power. Meanwhile BJP lost 10 years and an entire generation fed on toxic textbooks. They could have reinstated MM Joshi's books in a day. Just cowardice.

Many manual scavengers of today can be traced back to the Muslim invasions.

I don't come from a Brahmin jaati. But I find the hate against this small minority of Brahmins in India appalling. And it is mainstreamed by the Left today though its origins are in colonial missionary scholarship which saw Brahmins as the biggest impediment for conversion of Hindus. This is why they created fake narratives of "Brahminical oppression." Naturally conversion by the White Christian saviors was the antidote to this oppression. It was the solution for which the problem was created.

Ultimately Brahmin-hate is a proxy for Hindu-hate. We must speak up against it.
Unfortunately, many on the Left who propagate this hate are also (jaati) Brahmins as part of intellectual fashion. But in Abrahamic conflicts, they will be strung up just like the others. That's who we need to wake up.
This is not speculation, it's exactly how it has happened. The Islamic army of Pakistan specifically targeted Brahmin academics in Dhaka, many of whom were Leftists. They were all slaughtered.
