The Navarre branch line was in the Wimmera region of the Victoria and was connected to Ben Nevis on the Avoca line.
Opened in 1914, closed in 1954. Agricultural produce and timber were the main goods.

Good Morning Picola!
Nurmurka to Nathalia railway opened 1888,
extended to Picola in 1896.
Picola was a railhead for loading of wheat, livestock and timber.

Katamatite railway was built as a tramway from Dookie opened 1890. Two years later VR took over the line, upgraded to normal VR standards.
Shepparton to Dookie VR railway was opened in 1888.
Dookie to Katamatite was closed in 1987.

Rushworth railway branched off the Goulburn Valley Line at Murchison East. Opened 1890.
Extended to Colbinabbin 1914, branch from Rushworth to Girgarre opened 1917.
Girgarre to Stanhope closed in 1975, rest closed 1987.

Rupanyup - Marnoo 1909
Marnoo - Bolangum 1927
Closed Lubeck - Bolangum 1983
Wheat was the main produce transported on the line.

G'day Wensleydale (Victoria)!
Moriac to Wensleydale VR branch line opened 1890 closed 1948. Line used to transport firewood, gravel and brown coal, passenger services non existent after 1910 or so. During WW2 passenger trains to support Army at Gherang.

A turntable was located at Wensleydale.
This branch line was built with more hope than reason. Attempts were made to close it from early 1900s till final closure.
