Wow - “According to excerpts from 'Rage', at a time when @realDonaldTrump was wondering if #Israel was the obstacle to peace with the #Palestinians, Netanyahu showed him a fake video to steer him away from pro-Palestinian sentiments.” Fake news at the highest levels (thread).
I have met so many high level officials and diplomats across the US and @EUinIsrael who consistently mention content or issues that are clearly based on disinformation fed to them by Israeli officials that stoke their prejudice against the Palestinian ppl and struggle 2/X
Often times, I’ve asked for evidence of these claims - with staffers for these high level officials failing to find any. But what’s clearer now more than ever is that the @IsraelMFA and Israel’s strategic Affairs ministry are factories of disinformation. So what’s the lesson? 3/X
If you’re a diplomat or government official, don’t trust anything you receive from an Israeli government source without independently verifying it - whether it is from intelligence or even the Prime Minister. Don’t let them weaponise you’re implicit prejudice with fake news. 4/X
The fact that doctored videos were used to paint Palestinians as “child murderers” should be a reminder of how far the Israel gov will go to smear #Palestinians. Similar “active measures” are being used to smear college students and human rights defenders who organise for freedom
I am not a fan of President Abbas, but one thing he has been consistent about for 15 years has been speaking out against violence. Also, Trump’s pro Israel work is a mix of seeking the evangelical vote, Adelson & Kushner being blindly biased - not a fake video, BUT...6/X
... Such videos instigate more hate and vitriol and justify violence against Palestinians, making policies such as defunding @UNRWA “ethically justifiable” if one believes the Disinfo about what it teaches children. Such lies fuel more extremism & hate against Palestinians 7/X
Lastly, given BIBI used fake news and doctored videos with his best friend Trump, IMAGINE all the BS they’ve fed Arab leaders such as #MBS, @MohamedBinZayed and #Bahraini leaders who are all too often technically illiterate when it comes to political nuance and basic facts.

In the case of Gaza’s starvation, they now claim: “It’s disease, not famine.”
A hollow lie—meant to blur genocide into “medical confusion” - saying Israel is a “victim of another blood libel” to help it get away with mass murder.
To the untrained eye, that lie works.
People who don’t understand medicine—or how state propaganda works—pull back from condemning what they know is wrong because suddenly they feel they don’t understand in detail what’s happening, feel it’s “complicated”, then disengage.
When power concedes anything, it’s not because it grew a conscience.
It’s because it felt the ground shift beneath it.
🧵
Israel didn’t change course out of mercy.
It changed because it saw something it couldn’t control:
Arab streets brewing with more than usual protests.
New voices in the West breaking their silence.
Chants echoing in villages, mosques, churches, markets, and even concerts.
Not one protest, but a rising pulse.
A rhythm building.
Remember, the U.S. and Israel don’t ask allied regimes if they feel safe and take their word for it.
They monitor intel signals.
– How many cities protest at once
– When a crowd sings louder than it fears
– They look for when a teen throws a stone at a regime building not because she thinks it will change things, but because she’s already free in her soul.
The so-called “GHF”—this hollow US-Israeli spectacle masquerading as aid—claims to be “feeding Gazans.” But what they’re really doing is working with 🇮🇱 to condemn Palestinians to a calculated 360 calories a day on average.
It’s engineered famine, deliberate, and deadly.
🧵
Make no mistake: 360 calories a day isn’t sustenance. It’s a prolonged execution, drawn out in agony over endless weeks.
Picture it for yourself—one pita bread a day for two months, or two meager spoonfuls of rice, perhaps a withered fig.
That’s the average ration when averaging what they’ve delivered in the last 56 days compared to Gaza’s needs.
This is what 360 calories wreaks on the human body after 56+ days of siege:
• Muscles waste away, devouring even the heart.
• The mind clouds with fog, confusion, erased memories.
• Hormones fail, collapsing the body’s fragile balance.
• Immunity crumbles, inviting death by infection.
• Bones brittle and break.
• Organs falter, one by one, until shutdown.
Gaza endures this horror—not by accident, but by design.
🚨 How the Israel government manipulated the European Commission, yet again.
Israel is under massive pressure to ease the humanitarian situation in Gaza based on its obligations and m because of the shifting global battle where they’re losing legitimacy. 🧵
Added to that, European public opinion specifically has soured against Israel, forcing governments to have to act. These govs shifted responsibility to the EU Commission by triggering the review of the association agreement. 2/
To avoid accountability, Israel negotiated a deal to let in a drop more of humanitarian aid to Gaza, a basic obligation and something that anyhow had been a part of the ceasefire deal Israel agreed to. Consequently, In return for something Israel planned to do anyways…3/
🧵 Four of the 5 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza yesterday were from the infamous Netzah Yehuda Battalion (97th Battalion).
A thread on who this brigade is — and what they’ve done - including video of its soldiers celebrating settlers burning to death a Palestinian toddler. ⬇️
Netzah Yehuda is one of the most notorious units in the Israeli military.
They were created to recruit ultra-Orthodox soldiers.
But over time, they’ve become infamous for violence, racism, and brutality. ⬇️
Members of this battalion were caught on video celebrating the burning to death of 18-month-old baby Ali Dawabsheh.
In the video, they stab a photo of the infant’s face and dance with weapons.
It became known as the “wedding of hate.”

🧵THREAD: AIPAC Just Lost. Mamdani’s Victory Must become a Turning Point.
Here’s Why It Matters—for the Left and the Right:
Strategically, the best way to weaken AIPAC is to show that those it backs consistently lose, especially in key elections that garner media attention.👇
Zohran Mamdani just won the democratic primary election in New York—despite AIPAC throwing the kitchen sink at him. Millions spent. Smears launched. Allies targeted.
And he still won.
That’s not just a local win. That’s a national signal. 👇
For decades, AIPAC has ruled by fear. Elected officials—left and right—were told: Toe the line or lose your seat.
But Mamdani defied them—and the voters stood by him.
This is how empires fall: not with a bang, but with attrition.
