3/"provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, & judicial decisions interpreting such laws. Districts shall provide, where practicable, opportunities for racial & ethnic communities to elect candidates of their choice." This is the actual amendment language #RVA

4.Levine's involved since 2016. I trust KenPlum Janet Howell, Don Beyer & others who've worked decades to achieve this goal. This is pure & simple a power play to keep partisan control concentrated in hands of a few. #RVA This ENSHRINES the #VotingRightsAct in Va constitution!

5. Not sure what fast-talking #MarkLevine did to convince @delegatebagby he should oppose this. Their @RTDOpinion said not one word about #VotingRights Levine's been involved 4 yrs. The rest of us 4 decades. Vote YES 4 #VotingRights @chpn @FreePressRVA #RVA

5. Levine, with whom I would agree on most else, says 2 votes, Not true. PaulGoldman said 3. Opponents differ in their complaints. They strain out gnats & swallow camels. The camel is losing the opportunity to actually make the #VotingRights Act part of Virginia's Constitution.
