Very grim again. It is official: we are in the third wave which even according to the officials was mainly due to Ashura ceremonies. The numbers are exploding across the country. All metrics shooting up.
So if you remember we were on the downslope of the 2nd wave for 2-3 weeks and now we are back on the next wave.
Medical officials in Tehran are now saying COVID visits to the hospitals are now suddenly gone up 2-3 times.
Again a number of MPs are down with COVID and one is in the hospital with respiratory problems.
Number of daily hospitalised cases in Tehran (9M) is now at 720 jumping from 534 just two days ago. The highest number I remember was just over 800 during the peak of the 2nd wave.
