This Black History Month, we’re marking the breadth, talent and achievements of the Black community in relation to UK Parliament.
On our social media channels, we’ll be sharing stories from Black members about what Black History Month means to them.
We’re also launching a new educational resource for primary schools about stories of influential Black Britons who have impacted UK laws and equal rights.
We’re celebrating with events too, including an online discussion with the National Caribbean Heritage Museum.
This is a time to celebrate and recognise the ways in which Black voices have shaped Parliament, and we look forward to honouring them.

💬 "How many works are hidden away in storage? Do they get put on display in rotation?" ❓
80% of our 9,000 artworks are on display - a high percentage compared to many museums. We do rotate the works on display - some are fragile and can only be displayed for short periods.
