(in case either of them sees this: I'm on the verge of raising $4 million for over 600 federal & state races across the country using nothing more than my twitter account and a buttload of ActBlue pages).
...and to these STATE races to help flip up to 10 state legislative bodies at once in Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin: secure.actblue.com/donate/final_s…

THREAD: The other day @paulkrugman correctly noted that assuming the Trump/GOP lawsuit to strike down the #ACA fails, @JoeBiden's healthcare proposal (which basically amounts to #ACA2wPO) would be a Big F*cking Deal: nytimes.com/2020/10/05/opi… 1/
Krugman notes that most of the #BidenCare focus has been on the Public Option which "in the near term would be much less important than other aspects of the plan."
The "other parts" he's referring to are primarily the "ACA 2.0" parts which I've been calling for for years. 2/
As I noted in my updated analysis of #BidenCare, while there's a LOT going on in his plan, the parts Krugman refers to include killing the subsidy cliff, beefing up the subsidies, upgrading from silver to gold & autoenrolling low-income folks: 3/ acasignups.net/20/07/23/biden…
.@MarthaMcSally is lying AGAIN about pre-existing condition coverage. I know @CaptMarkKelly is already swimming in cash but I’m tempted to donate AGAIN out of sheer anger at McSally. I’ll probably end up actually donating to @GaryPeters, though; he needs the money more.
Again, one critical factor which I think both Bernie *and* Warren misread is that most Americans, *even those who like their policies* are simply EXHAUSTED. Terms like "POLITICAL REVOLUTION" and "BIG, STRUCTURAL CHANGE" are a bit much at the moment... 1/
...and I say that as someone who a) SUPPORTED Warren for half of last year and b) UNDERSTANDS that yes, Biden/Harris WILL have to institute MASSIVE, sweeping changes from Day One simply to keep the country from collapsing.
I'm referring to how you *talk* about those changes.
Let's say you LOVE rollercoasters, and normally you'd jump at the chance to go on one.
But then you barely survive a massive train wreck. Do you REALLY want to go on a rollercoaster the VERY NEXT DAY?
