1. I think it's interesting to note that Trump's political opponents are more vocally concerned for his safety than his supporters. Because we are political creatures in the middle of an election cycle it's easy to frame any concern from the left as just another attack on Trump.
2. But that still does not fully explain why Fox News would not even mention the risks to Trump. I predict that no Fox News hosts nor guests will say a word about whether this is a good idea for Trump. The right cares more about the election and its impact on their society than
3. their beloved leader. They love him but seem okay with the thought that he may harm himself. Or worse.
Remember the scene in Apocalypse Now when Col Kurtz is lounging in his jungle HQ with his "dispatcher" Captain Willard? Most people didn't notice the books on the table.
4. One was a "The Golden Bough" a controversial work published in 1890 that IMO was the key to understanding the film's brutal ending. Simply put, it was about ritual human sacrifice of a king. The author made a case that religions are all essentially derived from
5. fertility rights and a sick leader makes a sick society. So to protect the society and give it a rebirth, societies have employed rituals to terminate the King's reign. With prejudice.
6. Trump's doctors must know they may be sending him to face grave danger. I think Sir James George Frazier, the Golden Bough's author, would argue that deep down inside, they know exactly what they are doing.

1. The case against Commander Sean Conley. I reported on Oct 2 that the timeline appeared that Trump was infected on Tuesday Sept 29, before the debate. I expect that Donald Trump tested positive before the debate and Conely knew. Assume that's true, did Trump commit a crime?
2. Was Conley a coconspirator or accessory? I hope he didn't follow Bill Barr's, "The Emperor can do no wrong" theory of Constitutional Law because Trump lost 9-0 at the #SCOTUS on that theory. The speed that the professionals at Walter Reed got Trump out is telling IMO.
3. The answer to most legal question is often "it depends." But I know one thing, if Conley allowed Trump to infect people, we are not at war, and the injured Americans have remedies. And so do states that can charge them with a variety of crimes. nolo.com/legal-encyclop…
1. My sister was a 1970's architect of airline de-regulation. I never agreed with her view airlines should be treated like normal free-market players. They are our roads in the sky and regulation is necessary to end the cycle of Bankruptcies that is all deregulation accomplished.
2. IMO we need to let the major airlines all tank in one massive BK. By holding the bonds we can reorganize the industry into a regulated, safe, comfortable environment for travelers and workers. If we bail them out then they can't really be a free market player can they?
3. Don't just fund a bad business model. Turn their stock into what we see with utilities. Good safe investments but not part of the Wall St casino. And my sis? She whooped @POTUS@realDonaldTrump like a rented mule when he tried a hostile takeover of @AmericanAir in 1989.😎
In #Maxwell@SDNYnews US Govt has photos and documents of Epstein sexual abuse that “post-date” the indictment they want to hold for now to protect ongoing investigation. Link. timinhonolulu.com/2020/10/06/in-…
"These Materials include, for example, school photographs of certain victims and records, such as bank and travel records, for certain victims. The Government does not anticipate offering these Materials as evidence at trial in this
case . . "
The dates to watch are 1998 on. My quick look says Trump and Epstein were closely associated in NYC and Palm Beach from 1998 to about 2005 when they appeared to have a falling out. That's why he's going nuts. Plus the Covid and steroids.
1. Something I'm watching with Trump: The literature I saw didn't recommend #Dexamethasone early in the disease course. There were concerns that it would suppress the immune system's initial response, but his physicians had no problem with it. I don't presume
2. professionals are incompetent. So how could their use be justified? If Trump was infected by the debate that would put him on Dexamethasone about four days in. It's obvious Commander Conley doesn't want to tell the American people that POTUS was already infected on Tuesday.
3. He doesn't want to go back in time. But once Trump threatened the peaceful transfer of power, no polite courtesy can be afforded him. He wants to threaten us as a domestic enemy then he doesn't get any slack.
1. Here is an early Dexamethasone study reported in @TheLancet. All patients were on mechanical respiration. But the key is they all had ARDS. Has anyone confirmed he has ARDS? thelancet.com/journals/lanre…
2. So, as time went on, more studies were done. Here is a July study in the New England Journal of Medicine. nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…
3. Here's the key:
CONCLUSIONS
In patients hospitalized with Covid-19, the use of dexamethasone resulted in lower 28-day mortality among those who were receiving either invasive mechanical ventilation or oxygen alone at randomization
