On conf call with House Dems, PELOSI suggests she is making progress w/MNUCHIN on COVID talks but few details

HOYER reminds members that they will get 24 hour heads up to return to DC if a deal comes together this week.

After Trump and GOP senators testing +, PELOSI now wearing mask for her TV interview. Usually she does not wear one

She says she was tested again today but no results back yet
Pelosi last tested negative on Friday
Pelosi pushes back on those calling for mandatory rapid testing on Capitol Hill:

"You want to have the testing for those who need it"

She says she has not regularly been tested in past because she has not exhibited symptoms and wears a mask

With Trump and the Senate crippled by coronavirus, I can’t help but think back to this day, Jan. 24, when top CDC, NIH and State Dept officials held emergency briefing for all senators on the threat of coronavirus

Hindsight is 20/20 but there were lots of warning signs that day
CDC/NIH officials shared a lot of information about COVID-19 with senators that proved to be pretty spot on
GOP senators, inc @SenRickScott and @HawleyMO, emerged from that Jan. 24 Covid briefing warning that US should not trust what China was saying about the virus, but ...
