Oh no they didn’t read to the end of the poem did they.
Tbh the #MeToo movement erecting a statue of an evil woman from mythology killing the wrong guy is pretty on the nose.
Sometimes my tweets are just for my personal enjoyment and this is one of them.
This is literally “in this essay, I will...” made into a statue I’m cackling
Also a good reminder that sometimes art is just stupid.

It’s a day that ends in y, which means there’s a new component of “Russian collusion” that has fallen apart.

Today’s is that Cambridge Analytica was the smoking gun, which was torn to shreds by a 3-year UK investigation.

I think some apologies are in order👇
This story starts, as so many Russian Collusion hoaxes do, with @HillaryClinton. As part of her efforts to pin her electoral defeat on anyone else, she suggested Cambridge Analytica might be the culprit. ImageImage
And much like every other conspiracy theory that purports to tie Trump and Putin together, Congress quickly picked up her lead.

Justice Elena Kagan, nominated by President Obama, had never served a day as a judge before joining the Supreme Court.
Every day I grow more confident that I am the only person on the internet who remembers anything since before Trump was elected.

Remember when Tom Nichols wrote a piece for Politico applauding Jonathan Chait's whacky conspiracy theory that Trump had been a Russian intel asset since 1987? politico.com/magazine/story…

Sen. Harris repeated a number of objectively wrong points - including on fracking, the GND, the ‘both sides’ smear, and more - last night.

Bottom line: both Biden and Harris support the legislative priorities underlying the Green New Deal.
Next, the “both sides” slander about Charlottesville.

Bottom line: as Pence pointed out, this isn’t true, it has never been true, and it’s egregious that the media doesn’t call this out.

At some point, we need to have a reckoning about the ways that Dems & the media pushed the “Russian collusion” narrative - absent any evidence - and how they’ve refused to revisit it as the narrative has fallen apart.

We have to start here with @HillaryClinton, whose team invented this smear.

All of these were from before the election. The timing is important because we just learned today that US intel was worried about how Russia would use Clinton’s concocted attacks: thefederalist.com/2020/10/06/bre…
Of course, she wasn’t alone. Shortly behind her was @SpeakerPelosi, who took the fabricated allegations and, along with the rest of congressional Dems, whipped them into a firestorm unlike anything we’ve ever seen.

Reupping this🧵given the bombshell news today that US intel knew Russia was using the Clinton campaign’s “collusion” hoax against @realDonaldTrump to foment disinformation in 2016.

It’s clear that the media wasn’t just pushing nonsense, but actively helping Russian interference.
