The far right has radicalized its followers into weapons. Fuelled by hate and disregard for anyone that dissents from their beliefs, enraged radical extremists are taking matters into their own hands.

This one aimed rage at children protesting BLM.

Where was law enforcement? Nowhere to be found.

Sure, they took the report after the fact. But one would expect a police escort would be provided to a large group of teenagers protesting the utterance of the “N” word. Even if it were spontaneous in origin.
That’s law enforcement’s responsibility: to keep the peace.

When police don’t do their jobs to the best of their ability, it’s no reason to celebrate. It’s time to start asking tough questions.

Negligence almost led to vehicular homicide.
The political environment in Canada, and especially Alberta, is well known by law enforcement.

Extreme polarization fuelled by far right and far left political discourse means violence is entirely possible and highly probable when protesters gather to make their voice heard.
Children’s lives obviously are not excluded from the populist animus being fomented by irresponsible politicians.

Some might offer criticism that children should be in school and not protesting.

As citizens of this nation, children also possess the human right to protest.
But there is no right to violently counter protest. Adults or children.

Provocation to enrage and intimidate is not a legal right guaranteed in Canada. Or anywhere for that matter.

Because it’s meant to cause a violent reaction. Peaceful protests are 100% legal.
Violent counter protest is not legal.

Law enforcement management needs to be held accountable. This incident was predictable and preventable if police had provided their presence.

Police know there are extremists looking for an excuse to intimidate.
The school administrators are also culpable. When a large group of teenagers exited the school building to protest, the police should have been informed. Not to stop them, but to ensure their safety and wellbeing performing their guaranteed human right to peacefully protest.
That’s their job. To ensure the safety of the children under their care. Not to ignore the protest because it’s actually the school’s administration who are being protested. Because a second school employee was recorded using the “N” word.
It shouldn’t matter if the schools administration supports the protest or not. What they failed to do was ensure the safety of the children who are their students. That’s grounds for termination. Were my kid one of the protesters, I’d be looking for evidence of walking papers.
And the Calgary Catholic School District, they also failed to protect the very people who are the reason they have a paycheque.

Their job is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the students that attend the schools they administer.
It doesn’t matter that those very students are protesting the absence of mental wellbeing because the “N” word has twice been recorded being used by District employees.

Police should have been called to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the students.
There is no excuse. The system FAILED our children.

Three institutions completely abdicated responsibility for the welfare of peaceful underage protesters. All during a volatile political climate, after an incident of systemic racism and subsequent peaceful protest.
Yes the red truck’s driver is ultimately responsible, but so are the administrations of the three institutions that completely FAILED to respond appropriately.

Why?

The public deserves to know why our institutions are failing. Especially when they fail to protect children.
Who are the administrators who made the decision to ignore a group of frustrated and vocal teenagers? Were they ignored because the administrators wanted to keep the protest out of the media?
When you sit at the top of the hierarchy, you’re provided a salary that takes into consideration that you will be dealing with controversial and difficult situations. That why you collect higher pay.
I’d sure like to know why we continue to provide handsome salaries to administrators who run to cover their own behinds rather than perform the duties they are paid to perform. Like ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of the students they are entrusted to protect.
It’s no accident that three institutions, in an undeniably volatile political climate, forgot to do their jobs.

The lives of those teenagers were put at risk because of negligence and concern for their public image.
There is no room for more lame and “plausible” excuses. Do your job or vacate it so someone who will earn their high pay can be hired.

People’s lives depend on institutions performing their roles. People die when individuals within those institutions abdicate responsibility.
This is a huge failure of our institutions. Law enforcement, School Administrators and School District Administrators; all completely abandoned our children’s rights and humanity.

This is not normal. We don’t ever allow an institution to abandon their role.
We as citizens hold institutions accountable for their actions or inaction.

We need answers. Not only are children being subjected to racial epithets by the adults responsible for their welfare, when those students protest the conditions, they’re left to fend for themselves.
That’s a dangerous situation that needs immediate attention.

If administrators of institutions don’t realize the danger, as citizens it’s our job to remind them and hold them to task.

Protect the kids, not reputations.
Here is the article this opinion is based upon.

Interesting that Kenney Kamikaze investigation is being leaked into the public realm once again.

But I’m tired of tidbits to keep hope of deliverance and justice alive.

Maybe I’m jaded, but I don’t believe this investigation is actually going to amount to anything.
What is notable is the scheduled variable leaks confirming an ongoing investigation.

It reminds me of Indictment Friday’s in the US for the Mueller Russia Election Interference Investigation.
Every Friday was hopeful that another indictment would be made. Millions across the globe waiting in anticipation for a glimpse into the investigation. Who was interviewed. Who sat before the Grand Jury. Who was indicted.

LOOK AT THIS CHART!!!💥🚨💥🚨💥🚨

What is it telling us?

School based infections are exacerbating (increasing exponentially) the COVid morbidity rate.

Clear as day! Shut down schools NOW!

Children are spreading COVid everywhere by keeping schools open.
It is a CONSCIOUS & INFORMED choice at this point to greatly increase the spread of this disease and overwhelm the system, OR to shut down schools and ADAPT how we teach children and provide them learning experiences and socialization IN SMALLER BUBBLES.
This CAN NOT BE IGNORED. WE HAVE 4 weeks of data.

Read the chart. Every other area of transmission has stable rates that are manageable.

EXCEPT K-12 SCHOOLS!

Is UCP trying to KILL families with children, creating an orphan social class with lifelong health problems?

Wow! Moe is bribing constituents with rebates to get elected.

I guess Klein bucks worked.

Moe bucks has a better ring to it.

Sorry state of affairs when your campaign slogan is promising a payoff to voters for their support.

Notice how farmers get a much bigger rebate.
Money for students.

Vote for Moe and take home $1000.

Is this legal?
Moe must have talked to Ford. He’s avoiding autism. Throwing money instead of clawing it back.

I for one am not surprised. I’ve known for quite some time that Power Attainment is the biggest priority of May and Green Party of Canada. It’s not the environment, social policy or truth.

It’s power.

This information should fold the party.
All three elected Green Party representatives are more worried about their image rather than justice, ethics or women’s rights.

As a woman I’m offended and disappointed.
As a victim of harassment, I’m outraged.

But this is how leaders in systems barter in power and why justice is elusive for victims of abuse and harassment.

Because those in power consider their own individual needs before deciding what is just or ethically supportable.

Looking at the data from the two major outbreak regions in Canada is terrifying.

Quebec with the worst outbreak has 25% of schools reporting at least one COVid case.

Ontario with a close second worst outbreak has less than 7% of schools reporting at least one COVid case.
Alberta is at 13%.

207 schools are reporting at least one COVid case.

How much longer are we going to gamble with our children’s health?

We don’t know what the long term effects of COVid infection are.
But we do know that regardless of the presence of symptoms, there are lifelong effects in many patients.

Even those who suffer no symptoms show damage to their lungs. We do not know the lifetime risk of strokes, blood clots, heart attacks, system wide inflammation.

Sometimes I come across posts that are critical of the human race. People are overwhelmed by the amount of evil committed by fellow members of the human species.

People overwhelmed by Trump, extremism, Q cult members, nationalists, Dominionists.
At one point, I was overwhelmed by the acknowledgement of these human being’s influence in the modern world. But I’m no longer overwhelmed. I’m resigned to their existence. That doesn’t mean I gave up hope or faith in humankind. Exactly the opposite.
People who embody the worst of human behaviour have always existed, & always will.

But if we look to history, they have ALWAYS been the minority.

Most human beings are good natured. Most human beings want peace, love, hope & freedom. About 85% of the human race desires this.
