Being broke is temporary and being poor is eternal.

Because being broke just reflects the state of your bank account.

And being poor is more permanent as it reflects the state of your defeated and limited mindset.

One interesting fact is, beliefs are like a thermostat.

When the temperature of a room's thermostat is set to 68 degrees & you open the window, the temperature drops down to 60.

But then, the thermostat will heat the room enough to bring the temperature back to 68 degrees.

Similarly,
No matter how hard you work to earn money

If you have limiting beliefs installed in your mind about money,

Your belief system will act as a thermostat & keep you from prospering

The only solution for you to prosper is to get rid of limiting beliefs about money

I'm sharing three limiting beliefs about money that most people have and why they are wrong.

1. Money is the root of all evil.

This is by far the most common limiting belief about money that is being believed by the majority of the world.

The reason why it is wrong is that people fail to realize that money is just a tool that MAGNIFIES what is already inside you.

If a terrorist gets millions of dollars, then the terrorist will find more ways to spend that money to spread terror by doing evil things.

If a humanitarian gets millions of dollars, then the humanitarian will find more ways to spread love and use that money for human welfare.

Here's the lesson:

Money is NOT the root of all evil.

It is just a magnifying tool that allows a person to magnify what is already inside of them.

2. More money means more problems.

Money can never make you free from all your problems.

But what it does instead is, it solves most of your current ones and allows you to focus on BETTER problems.

Let's see the most common problems a broke person has to face.

- Worrying about the next meal
- Worrying about the next bill
- Worrying about not running out of money.

Small problems, right?

Now, let's see the most common problems Bill Gates has to solve.

- Research on Malaria vaccine
- Solve the sanitization problems in Africa.
- Set up mass production of COVID vaccines.

Notice the difference?

The lesson to be learned:

You will never be free from problems in your life.

But having money will always enable you to focus on better problems.

More money not only helps you to focus on better problems, but it also enables you to create a positive impact in the world.

3. Money doesn't make you happy.

The person who says that money can't buy happiness is a person who doesn't know where to shop.

With money, you can save the world.

With money, you can save the forests in Brazil.

With money, you can help poor people.

Money by itself will not make you happy,

But the lack of money will surely keep you unhappy.

A lack of money always invites stress in life.

Look at the neighborhoods that have the highest unemployment rates.

You'll notice that these same neighborhoods have the highest rates of crime & violence.

Making money is never about being happy,

But it is about solving the problems due to the lack of money and removing the void that it causes.

On the other hand,
What abundance of money allows you to have is FREEDOM.

Freedom gives you the ability to do what you want, where you want, whenever you want.

Freedom is what humans crave and this is one of the things that makes us happy.

Here's the lesson:

Money by itself will not make you happy.

But it will remove a lot of irrelevant stress from your life and also give you freedom which in turn will make you happier.
