There has been direction from Supreme Court.. this case has to be placed before the learned District & Sessions Judge for directions. This court will only deal with cases against MP/MLAs.. I am listing it for directions before the District & Sessions Judge: Judge Vishal Pahuja
Judge Pahuja lists matter before District & Sessions Judge for 10:30 am on October 14.

Hearing adjourned.
Explanation: The case will be placed before the District & Sessions Judge, Rouse Avenue for directions now.

After consideration, the District & Sessions Judge will pass an order on whether the case will continue before Judge Pahuja.

Bombay HC hears the anticipatory bail application of veteran actor Vikram Gokhale in connection with a case of alleged cheating and fraud over a 25-year-old land development project at Mulshi.
Sr. Adv. Shirish Gupte appearing for Gokhale argues that he was only the brand ambassador to attract people to the project.

He states that he was never on the board of the company Sujata Farms which is the company developing the project.

RBI CIRCULAR ON LOAN MORATORIUM:

#SupremeCourt is scheduled to hear the batch of petitions seeking extension of #LoanMoratorium or waiver of interest on interest today.

SC was due to hear the case yesterday but due to paucity of time, the hearing was deferred till today.

The @RBI in its latest affidavit before the #SupremeCourt has said that a further extension of moratorium beyond 6 months is unsustainable.

RBI also urged the SC to vacate the stay given on Banks from classifying loan accounts as NPAs.

Centre earlier agreed to waive compounded interest for loans up to ₹2 Cr and undertook to bear the economic burden caused by it.

In the latest affidavit, Centre said that questions of financial stress management cannot be decided judicially.
