If your vote didn't matter they wouldn't be working so hard to keep you from voting.
Do not aid those trying to rob you of your voice, your vote.
Do not give in to confusion and weariness.
That's what they're counting on.
Take it from people who are old enough to have lived through close/watershed elections: those who do not vote or toss their swing-state vote away in some kind of protest, almost always feel deep deep deep regret about it.
Also, not voting in this election is a thing that, if answered honestly when asked, will curtail your dating/partner possibilities going forward.

Now, maybe the people who'll care are not your thing. But it will be not a small number, for decades.
And, if sexual/romantic opportunities don't move you, consider this:
Back to sex and romance, hard to imagine anything less appealing to a huge swathe of people than "sorry, i was just too cynical/lazy/not personally imperiled enough to vote in this election that could literally curtail your rights/doom the planet/put kids in cages"
Too lazy/jaded to vote, too lazy/jaded to...everything from sex stuff to equitable chore division, I am just saying.

There is a poison pen in my mom’s HOA and the whole situation is bonkers.
Been going on for six years but now boiling over to open accusations at driveway COVID gatherings
Me: “you know—at least according to Agatha Christie—it’s a common tactic for people to send at least one to themselves.”

My mom: “I KNOW!”

Epic project by @LelandNally—who made 2,000 phone calls trying to talk to everyone in Jeffrey Epstein's little black book—and his editor @tcraggs22. motherjones.com/politics/2020/…

The @SongExploder for Netflix version of “Wait For It” was a perfect introduction to song writing for my 12-yo, thank you @HrishiHirway @Lin_Manuel et al.
Ok I remember “Losing My Religion” as being a Michael Stipe’s public coming out. Am I miss remembering that time table?
Or the coming out to anyone who doesn’t need it absolutely spelled out? Anyway, completely get not wanting to discuss your 30-yo (gulp) song via your sexuality forever but well anyway, that’s how I remember it being heard and appreciated.

This isn’t about “centrists.” It’s about winning Pennsylvania. Now, if you believe that asserting the most climate-forward position for the next four weeks is a winning strategy/worth the risk, fine. But that’s what this is about: PA as the likely tipping point electoral state.
I get it’s a tactical move for some groups to say nothing but full GND support should be met with anything but derision. I question whether that position, in this moment, with these stakes, is the wise one to be more broadly adopted by the Left— for the next TWENTY SEVEN DAYS.
The reason Pence et al keep pushing on this is they want to drive a wedge between winning PA and youth/Green support.

So...consider that.

1/ Today we launch the definitive, enraging, timeline of nine months of Trump's COVID denial. I highly suggest you read it, share it, and if you're say a journalist or organizer, use it to help fortify your own arguments. motherjones.com/politics/2020/…
2/ Our Trump COVID timeline is also sortable by these tags. motherjones.com/politics/2020/…
3/ So, for example, March 8 is tagged for "self-praise" "blaming others" and "golf"
