you didnt bother to note these caveats when you rushed to promote the story and the supposed lack of response from biden. you got caught redhanded and then tried to clean it up.
he does. and then when he's busted he gets shouty on twitter about how he does REAL REPORTING AND HOW DARE YOU.
dont let these media bad actors live down their malfeasance.

reporters at the most vaunted journalistic outlets should be able to know what bullshit is being peddled, left or right. dumb bloggers knew wmds were a lie, its the lowest possible bar and reporters should be able to step over it.
sorry (not sorry) but if you're a political reporter for the ny times or politico or bloomberg and you're having a hard time telling if the story from steve fuckin' bannon is bullshit or not and you just kneejerk push it out, you should quit.
its not as if this story came from a reputable source or an outlet with a good track record on this. its a story in the ny post from steve bannon and rudy giuliani about a laptop. come the fuck on.

"guys, we have tacos on every corner here, and president clinton's virus swift reaction team is being attacked by republicans for the 300-person death toll. we're really kind of upset about it. how are things going in your universe?" - our counterparts, throwing shade
"everyone saw wonder woman and tenet in the theater. did their wide releases make billions in your universe too?"
"we have to seal it off, they're all infected."

I have such a disconnect with senate fanboy/girl Twitter. Almost all the point scoring feels completely useless to me, tbh. I’m just trying to figure out if it’s because I simply hate the senate so much.
I see people go “boom! so and so Senator made some really cogent argument” and I think... so? It’s not the kind of thing that will go particularly viral. People who like Democratic senators will like it, but... eh.
The Senate to me is just so full of bs bipartisanship and high falutin and all of it. I can’t stand it. In the House they throw elbows, they talk about your mama, if a legislative body ca ln be “real” it’s the most real.

my thing is i like political stuff that works or that works toward a goal. that can even be the case with things that are going to fail, like a message bill. but im no fan of yasss queen stuff that indulges in liberal fantasy that doesnt do anything practical.
thats why a lot of the time you'll see me saying "nope, dont bother, waste of time, not going to happen." things like trump going to jail, etc etc. i just dont see the point in getting hopes up about insane unrealistic fantasies.
sometimes people think that means im a pessimist or that i think good things cant happen. im actually an overly optimistic guy. im just practical about it and maybe thats my jamaican coming through w my skepticism. "it nah work, man."
