2/ To be clear:
“psychopath” is NOT a clinical term.
It’s just the more eye-grabbing word so it gets used in everyday parlance & mass media
Roughly 1 out of 25 people are sociopaths (3-5%). That means you’ve likely met many - several without knowing it

3/ Not all sociopaths are violent
They run the gamut to politicians & CEOs who just screw people over however they need to
to assholes in McDonalds spitting in our food
to lazy assholes scamming stuff like insurance fraud
to John Wayne Gacy types

4/ Clinical studies show sociopaths to be loners with no need for connection
Sometimes you get Master/Servant pairings, but generally they don’t connect
& I think that’s mostly accurate
But this whole new awareness we have shows us a huge collection of many sociopaths

5/ There’s a simple explanation for this:
generally speaking, sociopaths TAKE the most they can for the LEAST effort.
Not to say they’re all lazy but *if they can* cut corners
they almost always will

6/ So if a sociopath were brought into a network of takers & they just have to play a role, & they’ll all cover for each other?
Easy choice
They identify others & invite them in
If the “newbies” fail or falter
They’re discarded

7/ This is a pack of wolves that won’t accept weakness
But if they “succeed”
Clintons+Bushes+Podestas... etc etc
Building up for hundreds years or longer
Developing their children to take over
Nature vs Nurture?
I think some folks don’t stand a chance

Inviting them into a world with
No accountability
Endless resources
Endless sheep to snack on
Hard cycle to break someone out of
