1. After graduating from law school in 1990, I worked at a Bankruptcy boutique firm. Brilliant lawyers, all much smarter than I. But all willing to fill an empty vessel. After two years I struck out on my own and, as a small business owner, tried to keep my library expenses down.
2. I took Con Law as an undergrad and since then I've tried to keep current on all US Supreme Court cases. So I called SCOTUS' Clerk's office and asked if I could download the cases. They said only Westlaw & Lexis could that. I told them that I it sounded an antitrust violation.
3. A few weeks later they knocked it off. Allowed @Cornell Law School to do it. I've gotten the cases via email every term since. I think my oldest sister gave the speech at her graduation from Cornell. I missed it, but I think somebody told me that. Probably my brother.
4. I missed his too. Come to think of it, I missed my own law school graduation. So I guess it's not really that bad I missed my sister's speech.

1. And we're five days from when Comey broke the rules and injected Russian propaganda into the election too late for @HillaryClinton to recover. Mr. "butter wouldn't melt in his mouth" Comey allowed the Kremlin to pick our President. Who'll play the Comey role this time?

3. So @RonJohnsonWI apparently tipped their hand and the kiddie porn is the likely play. I hate to be right but I predicted that over a year ago. How? I've seen this movie before. I believe Barr's firm did something similar in one of my cases before an oral argument.

1. Be ready for the amplification of Russian directed propaganda. I've noticed that @Twitter appears to have new tools that allow it to act like @Facebook and YouTube in ways that assisted the 2016 #GRU attack. It's recent. Just in the past few days.
2. Imagine you're shopping for a new car. You go online to look at car makes and models and you're narrowing your searches to a single car model. For example, you decide the car you want is a Toyota Camry. If you allow cookies and other trackers, your decision making has
3. been under surveillance. As you're planning your day you decide you will contact the dealer to buy the new Camry. Suddenly your social media accounts are flooded with content that show that Camry is a death trap. Worst car ever. All false but all directed at you as you're

1. Trump is one of the most transparent liars I've ever witnessed. So what's going on with Rick Gates? We haven't heard from him in a long time. I think I'll take a look.
2. I missed that Rick Gates was on @AriMelber @MSNBC hawking a book yesterday. I think I can guess what he's trying to do. The only thing new the USDC docket is there is a new Asst US Attorney in his case with specialty practice.

1. On the @Twitter @Facebook dust up, stolen emails carry potential civil liability. The ruling in the SDNY civil case brought by the @HillaryClinton and @TheDemocrats for Trump campaign use of Wikileaks/GRU hacked emails was dismissed because the court found the emails were
2. in the wild. But this recent @NYPost drop is an initial posting of stolen emails. So IMO the Post is acting as @WikiLeaks. Could these platforms face both civil and criminal liability? If they are betting that question may be answered by a @JoeBiden appointed AG running
3. @TheJusticeDept the decision to back away from amplification makes good business sense.

1.1928, the stock market was rolling along when an anti-prohibition Irish Catholic ran as a Democrat. Anti-Catholic hate raised its ugly head and Hoover won by a landslide. Then the stock market crashed in October 1929.
2. Factories closed and commodity prices plummeted wiping out the farm economy. By 1932 people were desperate and fearful and the map flipped from red to blue. FDR began is promised recovery but it was stymied by right-wing activist judges who shared Judge Barrett's views.
3. Like her they sought to roll back health and safety protections and block FDR's recovery plans. So FDR threatened to add justices. But the conservatives relented, with two crossing over. Liberty, worker protections and the safety net are a one-way street. We're not going back.
