I didn't intend to join this conversation until the issue of empathy comes in. I believe none of us is as empathetic as the Rasool, in all his dealings. The Hadith of Hudhaifa ibn Al-yamān explains that. Any violent rebellion against leaders lead to worse consequences.
It is just a matter of time until the reality of this protest begin to hit some of you in the face.
Hadith of Hudhaifa (RA):
"Rulers after me will come who do not follow my guidance and my tradition (sunnah). Some of their men will have the hearts of devils in a human body.
I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what should I do if I live to see that time?”
The Prophet said:
You should listen and obey them even if the ruler strikes your back and takes your wealth, even still listen and obey."
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1847, Grade: Sahih.
The scholars explained this Hadith in such a way that, violent rebellion leads to more harm than good. It leads to more precarious situations that may likely lead the society into more bloodshed.
That is why we have to be careful even though we are so pained.

We voted for you as the President not @ProfOsinbajo. Some words coming from you take more weight than the VP's words.
Truth is, governance in Nigeria has been full of lies for decades, & you need to assure Nigerians that everything you say counts.
You should address these issues directly. If possible, that virtual town hall meeting organized should not be attended by the IG alone, but by you & your VP, as you did attend the Presidential debate when asking for our votes. We have channeled our suggestions to you via the
means we have, and we hope you listen to them. Call on the elders of regions, whether they support you or not, whether they actually represent the region politically or not. We have the Northern Elders' Forum, the Afenifere & the Ohaeneze Ndi Igbo. Call them to a meeting.
SO MANY BLOOD SHED IN THE LAND, THIS MUST STOP NOW
Like many parts of the North, Birnin Gwari in Kaduna state has been a hell to its inhabitants due to insecurity. The youths are tired & they demand the following #4for4 from the govt immediately:
1. Immediate redeployment of security checkpoints on the Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna & Birnin-Gwari-funtua highways, to immediately stop the killings & kidnappings.
2. Enough of the defensive strategy, the military must take the war to the Bandits hideouts, and finish them totally.
3. the govt must from local level up to federal level must take care of families of deceased securities from vigilante, police, & military
4. the govt must immediately rehabilitate the highways, as the deteriorating conditions of the highways pave ways for killings/ kidnappings.
You are all witnesses of our fervent calls to the authorities, from states to federal govts on the insecurity in our lands. Unfortunately, nothing meaningful has been done yet. Personally, I was a victim of kidnapping & we had to pay ransom.
We will not be fair to ourselves if we say we will keep quiet & we have never been quiet. However, a protest at this material time is unwise & ill-timed. There are so many conflicting interests that may hijack our objective demand for #EndInsecurityNow from the government.
This, we must not allow. We must be careful not to bring a situation that is worse than we have. We must strategize & unify and come out at once when the present tension has subsided.
We commend your true patriotism & readiness to end this madness.
DON'T GO A DAY WITHOUT RECITING THE GLORIOUS QUR'AN, YOU WILL NEED THE REWARD IN YOUR GRAVE OR ON THE D-DAY
Do you know that a page of the Glorious Qur'an contains an average of 585 letters? Do you know the reward you receive for reciting every single letter?
Ibn Mas‘ood (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“Whoever recites a harf of the Book of Allah will have one hasanah for it, & each hasanah brings a tenfold reward. I do not say that Alif- Laam- Meem is a harf; rather alif is a harf, laam is a harf & meem is a harf.”
Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani (RH) in Saheeh Sunan at-Tirmidhi.
Do not go a whole day without reciting even a page of the Glorious Qur'an. Make it a habit, even if it is from your phone, take 2 to 3 mins after your Salaat & recite a portion of the Qur'an. You will need it.
Some of you are so dull to think that we are supporting @MBuhari or the @PoliceNG. Am I immuned to the rascality of the Police or SARS? Am I safe from the bad governance in Nig? If anything, the two politicians I respect most are those I constantly criticize. Check my history.
But what we are saying is, we see deeper than you do, on many things. Come for my PhD, you will only look foolish because you can't have something like that 🤪. We see where the #EndSARS protest is taking some opportunity seekers & we are alerting you. Yes #endsars and Swat.
Those of you taking this opportunity to begin a process of destabilising the nation are long exposed. They can't hide under a legitimate protest to seek political relevance or plant their ethnic agenda. You are exposed before you even go further.
"Whoever believes in Allah and His Apostle, offer prayer perfectly and fasts the month of Ramadan,
will rightfully be granted Paradise by Allah, no matter whether he fights
in Allah's Cause or remains in the land where he is born."
The people said, "O Allah's Apostle ! Shall we acquaint the people with the is good news?"
He said:
"Paradise has one-hundred grades which Allah has reserved for the
Mujahidin who fight in His Cause, and the distance between each of two grades is like the distance between the Heaven and the Earth. So, when you ask Allah (for something), ask for Al-Firdaus
