JETTISON YOUR MESSIAH COMPLEX NOW!

If the #EndSARS movt is scuttled by hook or by crook, fails to achieve #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria, what is coming will be 100 times worst than scenes captured in this one minute video.

@segalink, @feminist_co, & #WeThePeople must be guided.
Since #EndSARS protest began, October 8, 2020, in Lagos, there've been relative progresses:

1. Officially, the notorious unit SARS/FSARS has been disbanded.

2. No SARS personnel will make the new @PoliceNG Tactical Unit to tame armedrobbery & other violent crimes in Nigeria. ImageImageImageImage
For aggrieved Nigerians, particularly the Youths, who've been on the streets for the 12th day running to believe @NigeriaGov, @nassnigeria, @kfayemi-led @NGFSecretariat, as well as the @PoliceNG authorities that they are serious about #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria, they should: ImageImage
1. Prosecute or release all innocent Nigerians held in @PoliceNG, FSARS, DSS & @officialEFCC holding cells.

2. Hasten the prosecution or drop charges against 51,983 of 73,726 inmates awaiting trial across Nigeria's prisons. As at April 2020, only 22, 773 inmates are convicts. ImageImage
3. Drop the trump-up charges leveled against Youth activists fighting for #ABetterNigeria, such as @YeleSowore, Olawale Bakare (aka Mandate), et al.

4. Order immediate closure of all SARS/FSARS detention facilities, including the dreaded Awkuzu SARS, in Anambra State. ImageImage
5. Order the immediate investigation, arrest and prosecution of the notorious former OC SARS, Awkuzu, retired CSP James Nwafor, as well as his colleagues, for their crimes against humanity. ImageImageImageImage
6. Countless cases of misconducts/impunity by the @PoliceNG abound on the timeline of its Complaint Response Unit- @PoliceNG_CRU.

Immediately order a comprehensive audit of its activities since October 2015.

How many persons 've been Dismissed, Demoted, Prosecuted or Jailed? ImageImageImageImage
7/ You don't need committees, panels, white papers to give aggrieved Nigerians on the streets answers as to what @PoliceNG has done thus far to Dismiss, Demote, Prosecute & Jail rogue personnels since the @PoliceNG_CRU was created in October 2015.

Needless these useless panels. ImageImageImageImage
8/ For Police Accountability & National Security, via an Act of Parliament, @PoliceNG should be decentralised into 37 Independent State Police & 774+ Independent Local Police Departments.

I've continuously advocated for this effective policing model, since February 2020. Image
9. Pending when @NigeriaGov, @nassnigeria & @kfayemi-led @NGFSecretariat are ready to decentralise @PoliceNG, I suggest the immediate decentralisation of @PoliceNG_CRU across the 36 States Commands, including FCT Abuja.

Abuja is too far to ensure the effectiveness of this unit. ImageImage
10. When @PoliceNG_CRU is decentralised for effectiveness, morph the unit into two departments:

- Complaints for misconducts/impunity by @PoliceNG personnels against the Nigerian civilian communities.

- Complaints about crime incidents & fire incidents. ImageImage
11. For effectiveness of the new @PoliceNG_CRU department to handle complaints about crime & fire incidents across 774 LGAs, the 112 emergency toll-free helpline supposedly launched by @NGRPresident & Communications Minister, @DrIsaPantami in March 2020, comes alive. ImageImage
12. @NGFSecretariat supported by @NigeriaGov should build state-of-the-art 112 Work Stations across 36 States & Abuja, with unrestricted reachability down to their Local Government Areas. Nigerians across the 774 LGAs should be able to reach this toll-free help-line 24/7. Image
13. Decentralise @PoliceNG_CRU across 36 States & FCT Abuja, then members of @NigBarAssoc, @AmnestyNigeria, @NhrcNigeria, civil society groups, et al, can be empaneled to join the @PoliceNG in immediately investigating reported cases of Police misconducts for necessary actions. ImageImageImageImage
14. END- 112 Emergency Toll-Free Service must be decentralised, & reachable across 774 LGAs.

The @PoliceNG_CRU Dept for Crimes/Fire Complaints across the 36 States & Abuja, should hire & train Nigerian Youths as dispatchers, working 24/7.

BE GUIDED @MaziNnamdiKanu. Ahead 2023, restrategise to pull the political strings in Alaigbo with the #YouthPower you got.

Your men- ESN clashed with soldiers/police in Orlu axis leading to loss of lives. But innocent people are now charged for murder?👇

sunnewsonline.com/9-esn-suspects…
2/ Since Jan 22, 2021 that joint taskforce of @HQNigerianArmy, @PoliceNG & DSS invaded Orlu & its environs abducting innocent men & women, with 9 now being charged for murder, how many Igbo Politicians, paid with tax payers money- Govs, Senators, Reps, etc have reacted? ImageImage
3/ NONE! I've reached out to SE Senators to intervene on the @PoliceNG incarceration of innocent Umuigbo, but zilch.

Dear @MaziNnamdiKanu, conceding that ESN is a security stop-gap, it needs the legitimacy of law. Will cowards masquerading as leaders in Alaigbo support you? NO! ImageImage

Gov. @elrufai, you've lived in the U.S., UK, but learnt nothing. Why build roads without:

1. Speed Limits
2. Stop Signs
3. Traffic Lights
4. Yellow Lines Dividing Traffic in Opposite Direction
5. White Lines Dividing Traffic in Same Direction
6. Turning Lanes
7. Speed Breakers?
This is 2021. @NigeriaGov, @elrufai, other State Govs & LG Chairs must realise there are essential Roadway Signs, Traffic Signals, Pavement Markings which come with road constructions.

WAY FORWARD
Decentralise @FRSCNigeria. Let all 36 States + Abuja develop their own Road Rules. Image
FG, @kfayemi-led NGF & LG chairs should stop behaving like illiterates. Build roads with:

- Deep, Closed Drainages
- Walkways
- Streetlights
- Regulatory Signs: e.g., One Way, Stop Sign.
- Warning Signs: e.g., Pedestrian Crosswalk, School Signs
- Guide Signs: e.g. Route Markers Image

#DAY42: March 5, 2021 is exactly 42 days since Rev. Paulinus Offor, presiding minister HPICC, Umudim-Okporo, Orlu LGA, Imo State was abducted by @PoliceNG authorities.

@Govhopeuzodinma & CP Nasiru Mohammed should unconditionally release this innocent man to his church & family. ImageImageImageImage
2/ Rev Offor was abducted when a joint taskforce of the 34 Brigade, Owerri; 302 Artillery Regiment, Onitsha & the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response wrongly invaded HPICC Okporo during its morning devotion, on Friday, Jan 22, 2021.

ATT: @frankmbablog @PoliceNG_CRU ImageImageImageImage
3/ In search of ESN, the taskforce in what was an intelligence error invaded HPICC, Okporo Jan 22. The team lead acknowledged this error, asking for a ceasefire. 42days after, why is Imo CP Nasiru Mohammed still incarcerating Rev. Offor, mulling to charge him on trump-up charges? Image

SEARCH FOR JUSTICE?
Dear @Govhopeuzodinma, you're aware of d Jan 22, 2021 invasion of Jude Okporo's church in Okporo, leading to the abduction, illegal incarceration of Rev Paulinus Offor. Offor is an innocent man, not a terrorist nor murderer as alleged by the State & @PoliceNG. ImageImageImageImage
2/ Since the 1960s, Jude Okporo's church has contributed largely to the spiritual, economic growth & development of Imo State, & Nigeria at large.

Dear @Govhopeuzodinma, do use your good offices to secure the immediate release of Rev Offor. The wrong place was invaded on Jan 22. Image
3/ I'm aware Personnel of the 34 Brigade, Owerri; 302 Artillery Regiment, Onitsha, as well as the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team acknowledged they invaded the wrong place on the said day. If that was the case, Rev Offor shouldn't be incarcerated till date. Image

TWO KEYS TO SOLVING THE FULANI HERDSMEN/FARMERS CONFLICT IN NIGERIA

Since Feb 2019, today is the first time I would follow a program on any of Nigeria's tv stations. It was #PoliticsToday which featured my man, @seunokin's interview with notable Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi. ImageImage
2/ It is saddening to see the Fulani Herdsmen menace snowballing into a war across Nigeria's 6 geo-political zones over the last 6years, under the watch of President Muhammadu Buhari & Vice President Yemi Osinbajo- @ProfOsinbajo, as if there are no intelligent persons in Nigeria. ImageImageImage
3/ American writer, Max Ehrmann, in his 1927 poem- Desiderata wrote "...Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story."

For this reason, let us critically examine Sheikh Gumi's interview with @seunokin. ImageImage
