We are now close to averaging 1K cases a day

INCIDENCE RATE
Wasn't that long ago only 4-5 counties were considered "very high" in their incidence rates.

What's it all mean?
I'm going to talk a lot in the days to come about evidence of a crest. A sign that we're topping off (and ideally headed back down)
We are NOT seeing any sign of a crest right now, and that's the concern.
Cases, positivity and hospitalizations are all UP

You'd first expect to see signs of a crest in cases or positivity.
Even when those crest, hospitalizations will likely continue to climb (based upon the lag)

we're nearing territory we don't want to be in, folks.
this will impact you... whether you want to believe it or not.
I'm not panicking. We know a lot more about this virus than we did in April...

you should watch these numbers closely.
