This past month @antihateca (on whose board I now sit) received a substantial grant from the Canadian government. This was in addition to the very generous donation given to us by BMO. 1/16
While you can imagine what we were pleased us punch, the bad guys are spitting mad. Among those who are a wee bit resentful is one Faith Goldy-Bazos who commented on this grant as she did the BMO donation from in June.
See if you notice the theme she is going with. 2/16
The first (and most minor) point is that Goldy's name is never mentioned by CAHN members as she has been deemed to be basically irrelevant as she screams into the void on Telegram and Parler. 3/16
The only reason I'm writing about her now is that I'm personally amused by her passive-aggressive and increasingly impotent rants. 4/16
Second, yeah....
I'm sure readers caught it, but if the dog whistle (which is more of a blowhorn) isn't apparent, note the first comment. 5/16
Not exactly subtle any longer, is she? 6/16
And when you are called out by the far-right Rebel Media (including apparently a more recent example that Goldy complains about), you probably shouldn't be surprised when others notice as well. 7/16
Don't worry though. Self-professed expert Meir Weinstein has your back Ms. Goldy. 8/16
Maybe his opinion has changed? 9/16
So what else has Faith has been up to?
How about credulously sharing political conspiracy theories. 10/16
The homophobia shouldn't be much of a surprise either, nor the willingness to platform hate who share it. 11/16
That extends to the Canadian military because, you know, support the troops right? 12/16
Goldy has continued to disseminate her anti-immigrant and white supremacist bilge. 13/16
That last line, "you have no place in Canada" is especially interesting as every wave of immigrant has faced similar sentiments, including the Greek and Ukrainian ancestors of one Faith Goldy. 14/16
Finally Goldy continues to platform hate groups such as IDCanada, the Proud Boys (and Canada First which broke off), and Northern Dominion among others.
However, she has been rather silent about one international group that has been in the news she is well acquainted with. 15/16
As I see that Andy Ngo is still trending I thought I would share my brief, though enlightening, encounter with the man.
People who have followed this account will be well aware that I was doxxed in early January 2020. 1/24
After I was doxxed, I posted a final entry to the blog before turning it fully over to @VestsCanada. 2/24
While I received an outpouring of support and thanks from people who had followed the blog for years, there were a small number of individuals who attacked me.
It has been 11 days since Donald Trump lost the presidential election and his supporters, including his Canadian admirers, are continuing to take the news poorly. 1/23
As the reality of his loss has become apparent, the most extreme continue to retreat into a fantasy world where their echo chamber is their truth. 2/23
If it is at all possible, the claims being made by those who have not, and likely will never, accept Trump's resounding defeat have become even more outlandish. 3/23
I apologize for the delay but we have our winner in the "Most Cringeworthy Canadian Hateriot Gang Name". 1/16
In fourth place, the club named after a slow-moving extinct mammal known for getting stuck in tar pits, the Calgary-based The Mammoths. 2/16
The Mammoths were founded by Jeremy Clarke. Previously he was the Alberta Northern Guard provincial leader before being pushed out. Kyle Puchalski became provincial leader after. The relationship between the Mammoths and Northern Guard is acrimonious to say the least. 3/16
