The path to flipping the Georgia State House runs straight through my district. We can win this, but I need your help to reach every voter in the final days of this campaign.
Here's a thread of how you can help this weekend. #gapol
1. Lit Drop for Athens Area Candidates and Rev. Warnock - we will be partnering with @ReverendWarnock's campaign and other local campaigns to make sure voters know to vote down the whole ballot.
2. #TeamMokah Phonebanking Party - this is a great way to contact voters without leaving your home. We provide a training for new volunteers this Sunday, and can get you set up to make calls whenever is most convenient for you.
3. Stand Up to Racism - join me for a rally at the UGA Arch this Saturday to reaffirm my campaign's commitment to racial justice and unity. We will end with a March to the Polls where Mokah will cast her ballot.
4. Talk to Your Neighbors - the single most effective way to spread the word about my campaign is by talking with your friends and neighbors about the issues that matter to them. Contact three people today to triple your voice.
Start by quote tweeting this post!
5. Vote - early in-person and mail voting are now open. Make a plan to vote this weekend by visiting mokahforgeorgia.com/vote
Let me know how you're helping #TeamMokah this weekend!

"We're not learning to live with it. We're dying."
Cases are climbing back up in Georgia. We need leaders who will provide clear guidance and listen to scientists. #Debates2020wjcl.com/article/things…
I'm glad to hear them discuss the impact of this pandemic on schools. My glambaby just started school & I'm grateful they're working hard to keep him safe. We need resources to support our students & teachers. My opponent voted to defund education by $1 billion this year. #gapol
I know some people will not accept me or vote for me, just because I am Black. Some of my future constituents may think of me as nigger. But I am not afraid of this. I will not allow hate to stop me from standing up, from speaking out on issues that shape this community.
For months, I’ve been fighting back against racist and deceitful smear campaigns run by my opposition and his allies...I have asked my opponent to set the record straight and condemn these attacks from his supporters, but he has remained silent.
When I heard of Chadwick Boseman's passing, it hit me hard. My father recently passed due to stage four cancer. Too many people have lost loved ones to this terrible disease, and Black people are disproportionately hurt due to structural inequalities in healthcare & beyond. (2/5)
My fight for justice for Black lives includes addressing racial health disparities.
In Georgia, we can start by expanding Medicaid, which has been shown to reduce disparities in cancer detection and treatment and improve outcomes for everyone. #gapol#BlackLivesMatter (3/5)
Today, I’m launching my campaign for Georgia State House District 117. My launch will focus on the need for GA to pass a hate crimes law. I wanted to share my thoughts on this issue (THREAD) #UniteAgainstHate#gapol#HateFreeGA medium.com/@mokahforgeorg…
In the past two years, Georgians have been victims of violent attacks because of their identities. Anthony Gooden Jr. and Marquez Tolbert were burnt with scalding water because they are gay. Maura Binkley was shot and killed in her yoga class for being a woman. #UniteAgainstHate
We’ve faced anti-Semitic vandalism at UGA. In Gainesville, GA, a girl was charged for planning to kill black worshippers in church. This week, 3 members of a white supremacist group were arrested w/ plans to attack minorities, including black & Jewish people. #UniteAgainstHate
