But, just like aides of Governor @senatorbenayade often find a way to make others opinions seem like direct attacks on their principal, apologists and handlers of the @NGRPresident did same.

Minister Lai Mohammed succeeded in selling the narrative to the press that protests were hijacked and it was bought hook, line and sinker! What a spin! That was to justify what will happen next especially as the seemingly facelessness of the protests made negotiations difficult!

They could not fathom how a diverse group of people could be cohesive and the next thing was to try and sell the ethno-religious sentiment which was bought again by some apologists.

I repeat, the #EndSARS protests were never hijacked! Thugs, some sponsored, attacked protesters. Other fifth columnists used that opportunity to deal with those they had grudges against.

The employers of the thugs, suspected to be the state soon lost control and that degenerated to the uncontrolled arson we have seen!

The protesters remained peaceful! For instance, the burning of the vehicles in Apo was carried out by thugs while the protesters were miles off!

When all plans failed, the next was to set the ball rolling in #Benin city, when that succeeded, #Lagos and #Abuja were always going to be next since #Jos is always a hotbed!

The narrative pushed by Minister Lai Mohammed was sustained and then unknown soldiers (apologies to Abami Eda) arrived and shot at protesters.

Of course, the spin PR Doctors have helped Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu to do some damage control, but, that has not been bought!

How come @HQNigerianArmy soldiers could shoot (according to Buharists) blanks at a peaceful assembly, killing some and injuring many at night only to allow arsonists run amok during the day?

Any attempt to blame the victims is indeed an insult on the idea of nationhood which is about the people and not a character, infrastructure or party affiliations.

So, keep sharing your takes and opinions. Don’t think the history is yours for the writing! It began with the Shiites and it has moved to non conformists.

Once more, the protests were never hijacked! And, if I am protesting against bad roads, I will only leave when you move tractors to site! That was not done and that’s why we kept, and will keep marching!

The Revolution is indeed now!
