The FBI’s subpoena of a laptop and hard drive purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden came in connection with a money laundering investigation in LATE 2019, according to documents verified by multiple federal law enforcement officials who reviewed them.
Multiple federal law enforcement officials, as well as two separate government officials, confirmed the authenticity of these documents, which were signed by FBI Special Agent Joshua Wilson.
One of the documents was designated as an FBI “Receipt for Property” form, which details the bureau’s interactions with John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of “The Mac Shop” who reported the laptop’s contents to authorities.
The document has a “Case ID” section, which is filled in with a hand-written number: 272D-BA-3065729.
According to multiple officials, and the FBI’s website, “272” is the bureau’s classification for money laundering, while “272D” refers to “Money Laundering, Unknown SUA [Specified Unlawful Activity]—White Collar Crime Program,” according to FBI documents.
One government official described “272D” as “transnational or blanket.”
“BA” indicates the case was opened in the FBI’s Baltimore field office, sources said.
The documents state that the subpoena was carried out in Wilmington, Del., which falls under the jurisdiction of the FBI’s Baltimore Field Office.
“The FBI cannot open a case without predication, so they believed there was predication for criminal activity,” a government official told Fox News. “This means there was sufficient evidence to believe that there was criminal conduct.”
Another document, obtained by Fox News, was a subpoena sent to Isaac to testify before U.S. District Court in Delaware on Dec. 9, 2019. One page of the subpoena shows what appears to be serial numbers for a laptop and hard drive taken into possession.
Based on the date of the subpoena, an official told Fox News that the case would have been opened prior to Isaac's subpoena.
“If a criminal case was opened and subpoenas were issued, that means there is a high likelihood that both the laptop and hard drive contain fruits of criminal activity,” the official said.

The designations were applied to: Yicai Global, Jiefang Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Social Sciences in China Press, Beijing Review, and Economic Daily, the department said in a statement.
The Department of State said the outlets are “substantially owned or effectively controlled” by the Chinese regime.
1. Big margins in states that were blue in 2016 won't help
Most of the demographic changes are transpiring in states that are the least significant in terms of determining Electoral College outcomes.
2. Even a tie would probably go to Trump
A deadlock resulting from a 269-269 tie sends the decision to the U.S. House of Representatives — where Trump’s current, decisive edge in state delegations will probably hold, ending Biden’s hopes.
“We are facing the very real possibility of having a man, Joe Biden, who is owned by the Chinese Communist Party sit down in the Oval Office.
The amounts of money that are involved are staggering. In one meeting with Communist Chinese officials, Hunter Biden secured $1 Billion.
That sum was later upped to $1.5 Billion. No one – at this stage – can even begin to assess the total amount of money provided by Beijing to the Bidens. No one at this stage can even begin to quantify the number of “deals” Hunter made with the Communist rulers of China.
“Oh, it's gonna be a revolution,” said Luigi Tesoro, an Italian immigrant who said his first vote for president after becoming a citizen was for Trump. “I know he's gonna win.”
“Landslide,” she said, attributing her prediction to just a “feeling.” At the same event, Bruce Fields, 66, said that he expects Trump to win by “more than before.”

“One document reviewed by RCI reveals that a Biden associate admitted “finding employment” for Hunter Biden specifically as a special favor to his father, then a Senate leader running for president.
He secured a $1.2 million gig on Wall Street for his young son, even though it was understood he had no experience in high finance.
The New Yorker has suspended reporter Jeffrey Toobin. Sources tell VICE it’s because he exposed himself during a Zoom call last week between members of the New Yorker and WNYC radio.
Toobin said in a statement to Motherboard: “I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera. I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers.”
