So after the presidents speech what next ? After the protests what next ? What is the game plan ?

I will tell you .

A thread .

The events of the past two weeks actually showed us a lot of you are paying attention .

First we where able to crowd fund 150M for the protests . We got lawyers , doctors and the middle class to volunteer for a cause free of charge . #Gameplan

We were able to use that money to sustain advocacy , PR , messaging . We even opened a 24 hr help line that ensured we got reports from the streets in real time as to what was going on so we could respond .#Gameplan

Now let me tell you the truth . Nigeria is made up of more poor , uneducated and uninformed people than with the educated and enlightened . This means that we must be very aware of this reality . #Gameplan

This means if we are going to get the poor on our side we must be able to reach the poor with the message and speak their language within the shortest possible time . Now pay real attention to what I am saying . #Gameplan

Why was it easy to hire thugs ? Because the politicians could pay them. They had the money to give them . Now these thugs and the poor because of hunger went on a looting spree . Why ? Hunger ! These are realities #Gameplan

We need the poor to win elections . The older politicians know this . It is why they stock pile money and food to share during elections . They know the poor will vote their stomach even if for the short term . They are hungry . #Gameplan

So what do we do ? Simple .

First thing is to organize politically . Register a political party on ideology . Ensure this party is nationwide built on local community organizers in every LG in this country . We organize now ! #Gameplan

The second thing is to crowd fund this party right now . We raise between 100-200Billion Naira from within this country and outside it and put it behind Just one party . The goal of this party must be very clear . To place visionaries in each state . #Gameplan

Set up NGO’s whose sole job is to reach the poor in the name of the party as regards education , health , feeding , employment , free legal services etc . We give the poor what the government as refused to give them . The poor will side with who feeds them #Gameplan

The NGO must have a National spread and just as these past few weeks showed the impact of just the movement we show same impact in 2-3years . We massively help the poor ! #Gameplan

To ensure that people donate without fear , we ensure there is accountability and transparency in the financials . We hire independent auditors to review the books and give audited yearly details. #Gameplan

Now as for the political party . The candidates have to be humble, smart, beyond reproach, successful and must not have the “messiah” complex . So we avoid producing a greater monster who is smarter at being a monster #gameplan

We will need to get people into this party from the police , the army , the air force , the private and public sector . But most importantly we need to get the poor and masses to move in one direction alone . #Gameplan

To win you have to structure and organize . We have to beat this old order at the polls . We present our own ideological party and beat theirs hands down . It will be hard work but we will beat them if we are united . #Gameplan

There are other things that are necessary like electoral reforms but all that are long term needs . The old order will not change the rules of the game to give you an advantage. You will have to beat them at their own game then change the rules . #gameplan
