An example of Sekoolar-Savarnaism on the academic front. Savarnas operating in Protestant Padre framework mainstream baseless pseudo-scientific speculations as research.
Had this come directly from a Padre Hindus would have rejected it.

But thousands of years of faith in V1 Savarna of Hindu masses is used as a cover to sell this Padre snake oil on the name “scientific” research.

Not everything has to come from Purana. Before the arrival of Padre Indologist there was a system in place to study and preach our Scriptures. Brahmin scholar was one part and Saadhu-Sant-Sanyasi Samaj was another part of it. Develop some access to it. 1/2
I heard it from Swami Akhandananda Ji. If I recall correctly it’s in Ramayana Mimansa of Swami Karpatri ji as well.

I find Hindu RW on SM totally unaware and disconnected with abv mentioned taps of Hindu knowledge. Most happy with Hindol Gupta, Oak or MT type Padre 🦜.

Let state an incident from early mid 80s. There is a temple near Assi Chouraha in Varanasi opposite Kurukshetra pond called Panchadeva Mandir.
A self styled Guru came to this temple with his Chelas and started doing some Yagna with lots of pomp and show off.

He would do pravachan in the evening after conclusion of rituals during the day.
It went on and on the 3rd or 4th day he showed his real teeth and attacked and mocked Sanatana position with abuse to Gods, Brahmins, and Vedas in a typical Baba Rampal style. 2/
ND Tiwari was the CM of UP. Matter came to the knowledge of local Brahmin Vidwans and through Varanasi Congress leaders CM office was contacted. With in an hour police came and put that self-styled Guru in jail after a good thrashing to him and his Chelas. 3/

Mastani's son from Bajirao got the state of Banda in UP. He and his descendents were treated like half Muslim by neighboring Hindu Rajas. By 1857, they had become almost Muslims.

जैनमत में सीताराम परमेश्वर नहीं, किन्तु एक णमोकार मंत्र जपनेवाले जैनी है। साक्षात् परब्रह्म, परमेश्वर को दुःखी मनुष्य मानकर उनका अवैदिक, निरीश्वरवादी जैन मत में दीक्षित होने का वर्णन करना उनका कुछ कम अपमान नहीं है।
