In the late 1970s, a dynamic young lady in her 20s was deeply upset & disillusioned. Born in a typical Indian middle class family, she had aspired to become a Doctor, but when she was unable to clear the medical entrance exams, she chose to pursue a degree in
Zoology. Later, she again tried applying for medical schools abroad, but when she couldn't get a scholarship, she decided to pursue masters degree in fermentation science at an Australia University.
That course was the turning point of her life, because it not only changed her attitude towards microbial sciences, but also helped her develop so much passion in the field of brewing and fermentation, that she actually went on to top the Australian University with a
Gold Medal. Soon after her return to India, she started applying for jobs at various companies, but the kind of responses she received shattered all her dreams.
Every company, despite acknowledging her qualifications and skills, rejected her, because back then in India, the
fermentation jobs were mostly limited to "hard-drink" companies which were male-dominated industries. For her qualifications, the only role suitable was that of a "Master Brewer", which was usually the top job in any brewery, and the companies felt that giving such
coveted jobs to women would hurt the ego of the men working under her and demoralize the entire workforce.
Due to a series of such job rejections, the young lady felt immensely helpless and disillusioned. After a lot of introspection, one fine day, she said to herself "
So what if the brewing companies don't want to hire me? I will start my own company to not only compete against the brewing industry, but also use my microbial science knowledge to develop affordable medicines as well". That's how she started a brewing & microbial
company focused on healthcare, in the garage of her rented house in the 1970s,( 1978 to be exact) which is now among the top 5 Biotech companies in the world!
That young lady's name was Kiran Mazumdar (Shaw) of Biocon.
I generally refrain from writing on any religion. I consider one's caste, creed, color, race, religion and country just an accident of birth.
To me, the most important thing in a persons life is his economic well being and independence.
To me poverty is the biggest problem that humanity faces. To me ways and means to free people from the clutches of poverty is the only thing that requires attention. To me, economic independence is real independence. To me a life of dignity is more important than anything else.
To me the reason for economic crisis is because we want to benefit from the labor of others and not on merit or hard work of our own. I fundamentally believe that for someone to get rich, others need not get poorer. I believe that policy driven by some rich people is .
Just like nobody knows what is being done in the #PMCaresFund, nobody seems to know who made Arogya Setu App, made it compulsory and then collected the data of millions of Indians, tracking them on a daily basis.
Responding to an RTI, all the departments that were running, advertising, handling, providing infrastructure, etc. this app have returned a 'We Don't Know' response.
Perhaps for the first time in the history of the country, nobody knows what's going on!
Look at Aadhar. It was a UID Unique Identification Database which assigned a Unique number to a person who was in India on the basis of existing documents, including Ration Card, Electricity Bill, Apartment Registration details, Leave and License Agreement Details, etc.
INSPIRED BY ARJUNA: REICH SARSANGCHALAK HEINRICH HIMMLER
"Heinrich Himmler was the most fervent Nazi adherent of Indian Hindu culture. According to his personal massage therapist, Felix Kersten, he used to carry the German translation of Gita in his pocket till his death.
He was a great admirer of Indologist, Yoga scholar and SS Capt. Jakob Wilhelm Hauer of the University of Tübingen. Himmler used to emphasize and read the chapters from Gita to his massage therapist which explains that a person's identity does not have to be
defined by one's actions - that is, even if they commit evil acts, they can still remain untainted and unaffected by ones’ own actions.
He particularly referred to conversations between Krishna and Arjuna at Kurukshetra where the latter questions
A story like this can happen only in America, and San Francisco in particular. It is a story of a business
pioneer, a comeback kid and a battle against Cancer. He was truly a man of our times. Which also means that he was an image manufactured to hold our interest and warm our hearts.
I don't think he was a Thomas Alva Edison who invented the incandescent
bulb that changed our lives by allowing us to use the night to work, read and play. By demanding electricity the little bulb demanded supply of electricity on a mass scale. That changed society world over.
Henry Ford revolutionized production and changed the system of

A money trail could establish whether Republic paid 5,00,000 to a neighbor of Rhea Chakraborty to give a statement linking Rhea and Sushant to a day prior to his suicide.
One lady had said that she saw the two together one day before Sushant committed suicide. This was run exclusively by Republic as clinching proof.
Now if Republic actually paid this lady, she must have deposited the money in her bank account or somewhere. And she would be easy target for Mumbai police to crack. Obviously neither the channel nor the witness would have thought that the investigation will take
