I love my country far more than I love a political party - I’m heartbroken seeing our country ripped apart. This is not right nor who we are nor what our ancestors gave their lives for.
Guard your tongue carefully - what you post & repost on social media - you don’t want to be a part of ripping our country apart.
My biggest prayer is for our democracy to be strong - what difference does it make who wins if we destroy ourselves & fuel hatred towards others
As followers of Jesus we are to love God & love our neighbor - Jesus says love even our enemies - if we do that we will make it
Do not allow yourself to be manipulated by politicians or religious leader pundits promoting politicians - this is unbiblical & dangerous
We have a past history in Europe that shows what happens when the church & state are one - it is no different than some extremist imams in the Middle East promoting leaders & hate - we are doing the same
Let people vote as they will without judging their Christianity - I assure you not all Republicans are nationalist & not all Democrats are not communist.
Pray about who God would have you to vote for & do it knowing what he tells you to do & what he tells someone else to do may be different - he spreads us out as salt & light everywhere
No good thing comes from cancel culture or name calling - speak to issues - speak out against division, judgementalism, hatred, & violence
Pray for our country fervently - I’m praying for a landslide whoever wins to avert further division but if not then I’m praying we as the followers of Jesus will respond in such a way to bring calm & not further division
Once we go over the cliff it’s near impossible to return to what we were - realize the seriousness before the rhetoric
Heavenly Father, we need you desperately. Not nearly as much in the voting booth as outside of it. May this time in our history bring your people back to you. Thankyou for our country. We love America and want to see her stand, not just for our sake but for the sake of the world

Some people think because I’m such good friends with so many non-Xns I will leave my faith or become a universalist - never - Jesus is more precious to me than ever & his message more important
Such a strange Christianity in America today - everyone talks about evangelism, witnessing, yet most have few if any non-xn friends
If your faith can’t handle loving & hanging out with lost people - it’s not the faith of a Jesus
What would an effective missiology for the 21st century look like? Here are a few key elements- - -
A missiology developed without the context of the world is DOA & we have never needed a newer missiology more than we need it today - much of what we have is ineffective, outdated and even detrimental to the Great Commission - it takes years to develop systems that become chains
First, it would be done in the public square neither in a church building or a house church - that would be secondary - focus must shift from the gathering to the market
Just to be clear - the Kurds just lost their land where they have lived for hundreds of years - they will now be driven deeper into Syria where the Russians/Iranians now control - they had no voice - pray for them - thousands of them are Jesus loving people & church planters
They are in a far more dangerous and precarious situation than they were before they started helping us with ISIS
For those interested in history they were a people group dissolved on the borders of 5 nations by the British as they decolonized the area around 100 years ago like the British did with many African nations & the Pashtun people
Why I visit mosque, synagogues, temples, & churches I disagree with & encourage others to as well:
1. Jesus & Paul did their ministry in the public square - they were everywhere people were - their ministry wasn’t cornered off in buildings with believers.
2. Paul went into synagogues after writing the law is no longer necessary to justify XNs. Paul clearly says they have rejected Jesus & the prophets but loves them so much he says he’s willing to go to hell for them.
3. Paul & the early church showed tremendous respect for practicing Jews - when the church began to separate from them, in time they resented them, then vilified them - finally begins a sad chapter of anti-semitism in the church for centuries that for some is still alive
