Why I visit mosque, synagogues, temples, & churches I disagree with & encourage others to as well:

1. Jesus & Paul did their ministry in the public square - they were everywhere people were - their ministry wasn’t cornered off in buildings with believers.

2. Paul went into synagogues after writing the law is no longer necessary to justify XNs. Paul clearly says they have rejected Jesus & the prophets but loves them so much he says he’s willing to go to hell for them.

3. Paul & the early church showed tremendous respect for practicing Jews - when the church began to separate from them, in time they resented them, then vilified them - finally begins a sad chapter of anti-semitism in the church for centuries that for some is still alive

4. Jesus followers should be everywhere! Jesus hung out with prostitutes, tax collectors, crooks, Samaritan’s. Paul went to synagogues, temples, philosophy gatherings, town halls to share the love of Jesus.

5. If unbelief & sinfulness & bad doctrine is a reason not to enter a place - I need to stop going to church - it’s all around you every Sunday in every church regardless of what the preacher is preaching

6. Where I go Jesus goes & where Jesus goes I must also go & when I go with him we go to the mosque together and good things can happen

7. Because I’ve been to many mosques & other places - Muslims often come to my church - as a result of those relationships I get to explain to them clearly who The Jesus of the New Testament is.

8. The way western Christians currently relate to the world is unsustainable - tribalism is isolating us and driving us to hate - this is not the way of Jesus.

9. The way most Christians relate to non-XNs is detrimental to the Great Commission - the good news of Jesus has always spread through relationships - we want to preach sermons - Jesus said to love them - BTW preaching or Kerygma was not in pulpits but 1 on 1 or groups

10. I have ‘preached’ in mosques & Muslim events all over the world & the U.S. - what better place to proclaim the love of Jesus. To preach in a church is nice but in a temple, synagogue, or before leaders - that’s another level all together!!

11. If you want people to listen to U - understand U - respect U - You have to listen to them, try to understand them, and respect them - we make such big hoops for people to jump through Jesus never did

12. As a follower of Jesus I pray without ceasing - a life & attitude of prayer - to be present with non-XNs praying brings an added dimension of the power of the Holy Spirit to be present and working

13. There is no truth w/out love no redemption w/out sacrifice. How far am I willing to love? In the end we have a massive love problem - I am at war with no one I am at peace w/Jesus. I will let God judge not me. May people see/hear Jesus in me - I can do no other Here I stand
