Just to be clear - the Kurds just lost their land where they have lived for hundreds of years - they will now be driven deeper into Syria where the Russians/Iranians now control - they had no voice - pray for them - thousands of them are Jesus loving people & church planters
They are in a far more dangerous and precarious situation than they were before they started helping us with ISIS
For those interested in history they were a people group dissolved on the borders of 5 nations by the British as they decolonized the area around 100 years ago like the British did with many African nations & the Pashtun people
For those interested in the Great Commission tens of thousands began following Jesus 3 decades ago
For those interested in the global church I am concerned how they will view ‘evangelicals’ in America not speaking up for them & the impact of that on believers in the nations near them
When you insert ‘evangelical’ into wars & foreign policy it rarely promotes the Gospel but often hinders it
