Media was nearly 1500 crore industry in India during 2010-2012. Out of which 60% was bought by Ambanis in 2012.
And there was a sudden shift in media reports. The allegations of corruption were normal and many media trial to bring down the govt.

The core motive was to make media houses dependent on govt spendings.
Most of the media is now dependent on either Ambani or govt spending.
