[PICTURES] Homeless men housed at a temporary shelter in EThekwini during Covid-19 have established an agricultural project in the inner-city. With assistance from the municipality and NGOs, they are now selling organic vegetables to locals. @NkoRaphael

The first seeds were planted in June at the request of homeless men after complaining of boredom within the shelter.
Products on offer include spinach, tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, spring onion, lettuce, green pepper, green beans, beetroot and herbs. @NkoRaphael

[#WATCH] Meet Khangelani Sibiya from Newcastle in KZN. He’s a Maths and Science who was awarded the ‘Best Global Teacher’ title at the weekend in Dubai. He incorporates traditional music and art during teaching and learning. VIDEO SUPPLIED. @NkoRaphael
The 33-year-old Sibiya currently works as a teacher in the Richardsbay area. He runs an NPO called KWV Tutoring, which he founded in 2008. On weekends, he grants extra classes to learners from different school. He says he’s reached over 25k learners since he started he NPO. ND.
At study camps organized by his NPO, Sibiya says the subjects of Maths and Science are ‘broken down for ease of understanding and vernacular language is incorporated in teaching and learning’. @NkoRaphael
#SchoolMurder In a statement, the Department of Basic Education says a Grade 1 learner in the North West was stabbed multiple times, allegedly by a Grade 11 learner from another school, Mankala Technical High School, who had been hiding in the primary schools toilet. TTM
#SchoolMurder It is alleged that the suspect apparently slept in the toilet overnight without anyone knowing he was there. TTM
#SchoolMurder The deceased was one of the first to go to the toilet in the morning and the Grade 11 learner allegedly repeatedly stabbed him. He was rushed to the local clinic where he was sadly certified dead. TTM
