So @GreenPartyUS vote share dropped considerably from '16, for a number of reasons, but it's a clear indication that in the final calculus most on the left accepted the @DemSocialists / #vbnmw framework, at least for now.
The election was very close, and socialists drug Biden's sorry ass across the line, but will you hear any gratitude?

Lol no.

The latest narrative is Biden lost Latinos because the spooky specter of socialists. Meanwhile, compare Latino percentage to Biden/Bernie vote share in the primary: ImageImage
Anyway, this is all very predictable and one of the reasons I did not support the Dems after Bernie was out.

Nevertheless, this is the track we're on. I look forward to see what muscle @DemSocialists and @4aPeoplesParty will flex over the next two to four years.

Please allow me a moment to get pissed that the left lined up so completely behind Biden and conjured this entirely predictable result.

We need to gather these moments over the next few months and thoroughly convince ourselves that socialism via the Dems is an impossible task.
I'm going to try very hard to give the @DemSocialists a good faith chance to prove they can keep this in check.

I'm seeing a lot of leftists posting that Biden owes us for his victory, and it's true.

But mere truth doesn't mean we'll be able to turn that into real gains.

The #NoBidenPledge:

We pledge to neither vote for, convince others to vote for, nor support the campaign of @JoeBiden in the event he becomes the Democratic Party nominee

#NoBiden
#DemExit
Some of us are independents. Some are lifelong Democrats. Some were #ObamaToTrump voters in 2016. Some are @BernieSanders supporters, others @ewarren supporters, and others undecided.

All of us would have otherwise supported @TheDemocrats in the general election.
Our three major objections:

1) @JoeBiden’s history of support for right-wing policy

2) Concerns about Biden’s health and ability to defeat Trump and carry out the office of President

3) The DNC and media’s collective effort to smother a grassroots progressive movement
