@TuckerCarlson@JasonMillerinDC@JackMaxey1@Timcast and my many friends, we are at a dangerous place. Our car has spun out on a tight mountain curve and is teetering, balanced on the edge of a precipice. We have highly unusual election activity, it needs to be understood.
Conservatives and others believe the election is being tampered with, in a major and concerted way. Democrats think this is nonsense, at least in public statements. It is time for both sides to realize that there is no way to put Humpty Dumpty back together for this election.
We can force this to be resolved through the courts and States but such a solution, will never be accepted by about 40-50% of the country. It will naw and tear at us for years. The only solution that can allow us to heal is one that gathers bi-partisan support.
We need a dramatic bi-partisan solution or this will not end well. We need to do something, be enlightened for a change, and realize this is a massive credibility problem that cannot be solved. We either further rip the fabric of our society apart or fix this.
My thoughts, in this election: 1) Each state legislature must decide what to do for disputed Senatorial and House elections. I suggest rerunning elections but it should be decided by the state as spelled out in the Constitution.
2) Setup a Special multi-lateral Commission to explore ways to ensure future elections are fair and honest, focused on Process, Technology, Security, Fairness, Sovereignty, Transparency and Access. Solution must create something trustworthy and actionable within 12 months.
3) Setup a Special Prosecutor to investigate all legal and process issues in this election. The results must also feed into the multi-lateral commission to ensure that solutions account for weaknesses. The mandate must be to complete within 2 years.
4) Setup a multilateral commission to investigate ways to insure all voices are heard. The current liberally dominated media and tech platforms close off access, interfere with debate and will destroy our democracy. We also need ways to dampen hysteria not silence it.
5) The Presidential election must be rethought, as with most of 2020, it was not ok. We can use legal and constitutional processes to resolve but there is no time to properly investigate and all solutions will fail to satisfy those that lose.
My first thoughts for open discussion, we should extend President Trump’s term 2 years, the Senate and House should refrain from any legislation or actions not required to keep government operating or respond to national emergencies. All Senate action should require 60 votes.
There are ways to do this, our priorities should be government continuity and fixing the current structural problems with elections. There are certainly alternatives, but we need to think out of the box and stop the current rancor. Start talking we need a positive solution now.
The alternatives I hear are not going to solve this problem. Provenance has been irrevocably destroyed in this election, it simply cannot be trusted in GA, MI, WI, PA, and NV. Come up with a solution or let State Legislators pick the electors as in the Constitution.

I hate to do this but you may or may not know me but I am a System Matter Expert on Provenance as related to Trust. I have consulted for the Justice Department, DHS, CIA, NSA, DOD and Treasury on Trust and Provenance and used to hold TS clearances.
We have designed our system to be secret but trusted. This requires guarded anonymous voting with the purposeful destruction of ballot provenance, by design. This is done for a reason, to avoid coercion while giving free access to the vote while still guaranteeing the count.
Understanding “Deaths from the pandemic” is much more complicated than it should be. Trying to compare US figures to other countries is even worse.
1/
This is aimed at the political discourse, not a comprehensive discussion of the statistics or underlying science. There are literally thousands of moving parts. But I will try to give you some of the stronger issues so you have the armor you need.
2/
Political dialogue follows: 1) 230,000 deaths have occurred in the US from the Pandemic.
This number is overinflated compared to many countries. The US has a rigorous way of counting deaths and is overly generous in the way COVID19 deaths are defined.

As we talk about the Biden scandal tied up in the weeds we lose sight of the American instinct to trust people until proven untrustworthy.

Grifters often have a nice smile, reassuring words and comforting manner. In this case the former VP is also surrounded by loud defenders trying to drown out the scandal. But just stop and think, they are asking us to entrust our future, our safety and our lives to this man.

They have not answered the most basic questions about their economic relationships around the world. Joe are you a traitor? Joe are you a crook? Joe, why should I trust you with the lives of my family? Who trusts someone to protect their family or wealth given these problems?

I want to start talking about a severe gap we have in understanding the future of the United States and of the World. I will do it in small bites and explain what the implications are for what is happening now. It starts slowly so bear with me. Please feel free to join in.

Morality and ethics are complicated subjects. Logic is at times complicated. Religious people look to their teachings for guidance in the boundaries of morality. But to continue the discussion you have to add the concept of sovereignty.
2/
For the religious, sovereignty is ceded to higher beings or God. For non-religious sovereignty is given to reason, culture, leaders or others. But in all systems there are anchors for morality, which in turn are translated into ethics, or the rules we follow in life. 3/
@C1aranMurray@LaurenceBettle The issues on tests; sloppy language often misconstrues their use and value. Data, all data, is good. Misuse and misunderstanding can be very bad.
First, this curve:
@C1aranMurray@LaurenceBettle The disease has two distinct phases with serious disease, this is well known, now. What is less understood is whether there are meaningful long term issues, we do not have objective long term data yet.
The problem with our political debate:
- democracy is belief agnostic, it creates a check on arbitrary exercise of power.
- capitalism is agnostic, it creates a more efficient platform for economic growth.
- freedom is agnostic, it allows people to do as they choose.
1/
We conflate many other things together, but these are different choices:
- are we responsible,
- are we moral,
- are we fair and just, and
- are the excesses of each system in proper balance?
2/
These are where a society debates, protests, and considers the restrictions we will place on our systems to maintain balance. But now we have a cultural breakdown in what we consider responsible, moral, fair and just. And many no longer believe in our founding principals.
