Freedom has many difficulties and democracy is not perfect, but we have never had to put a wall up to keep our people in, to prevent them from leaving us.

So let me ask you as I close, to lift your eyes beyond the dangers of today,..

to the hopes of tomorrow, beyond the freedom merely of this city of Berlin, or your country of Germany, to the advance of freedom everywhere, beyond the wall to the day of peace with justice, beyond yourselves and ourselves to all mankind.

All free men, wherever they may live, are citizens of Berlin, and, therefore, as a free man, I take pride in the words "Ich bin ein Berliner."

Tråd om #MinkGate.

Det er videnskabeligt dokumenteret at minkfarme udgør en kilde til spredning og udvikling at SARS-CoV-2. Et af de seneste studier om dette blev publiceret for nogle få dage siden i SCIENCE (science.sciencemag.org/content/early/…).

Dette er også erfaringen i Danmark, altså at minkfarme bidrager til spredning og udvikling/evolution af SARS-CoV-2. Dermed har trusselsbillede ikke ændret sig så voldsomt henover sommeren indtil det tidspunkt hvor der blev set nye mutationer også i patienter.

Data om de nye mutationer er friske og ret begrænsede men de er utvetydigt bekymrende da de påvirker områder i virus som er mål for antistoffer som er tiltænkt enten vaccination eller terapeutisk anvendelse.

We are seeing the FRAUD PRESSURE from Chinese publications/preprints/+ increase dramatically. We are seeing multiple attempts to plant fraudulent studies in prominent journals (@nature, @CurrentBiology, @NatureMedicine u name it) from china based labs.

This is not new, but the level/pressure is.

Now Editors/Journals have now for years sucked up to China and have in my view sold out on Q/C and scepticism. However, this is now becoming a mortal threat literally both to science but also to our ability to fight COVID19.
