Joe Walsh: If they'd have counted the mail-in ballots first, we would have had the results right away. Instead, states like PA & WI counted them last. I was wrong about that.

Joe Walsh: I knew turnout would be through the roof, but I did not foresee Trump getting his people out as well as he did. I knew the opposition vote would be huge, but to Trump's credit, he got his vote out, too, which surprised me.

Joe Walsh: I don't think this was a close election. Biden won the popular vote by 7 million votes & will have over 300 electoral votes.

Joe Walsh: I think we've got dark days ahead of us. The GOP is screwed; Trump dominates the GOP. I think Trump comes out within a year and announces he's running again in 2024, & he'll overrun the GOP for the next 4 yrs, so they're screwed.

Joe Walsh: If the GOP keeps control of the Senate, & it'll be tough for the Dems to win those two GA seats, it'll force Biden to work from the middle, which might quiet folks on the left.

Joe Walsh: I can't tell you enough: Trump is not going away. All he's going to say is this election was stolen from him, & he's going to control the GOP for the next four years. That opens the door for the Democrats.

Joe Walsh: I come from the Trump world. His supporters used to be my supporters until I turned on Trump. I hear from thousands of them every day that the election was stolen--his supporters bought into this. The rest of the GOP knows this is a joke. Performance art

Joe Walsh: I'm glad Biden won, but Trumpism...I think Trump wins as well because he gets to leave the WH with his lie in place, that the election was stolen. The GOP could have begun to separate themselves from Trump but now they're stuck with him.

Joe Walsh: I think Roberts & Kavanaugh will join the liberal justices. I liked Judge Amy Coney Barrett but I didn't like the way she was put on the court. Supreme Court justices can be far more independent than people think they can.

Joe Walsh: It'll be interesting to see if Biden has a chance to make a Supreme Court pick. Clarence Thomas is tired & would like to be off the Court, but maybe he'll wait four years now.

Joe Walsh: The way to get people like Rick Smith & Joe Walsh to sit down & calmly discuss issues was to get rid of Trump, & we've done that. Once Biden becomes President, people like us will come together to solve problems.

Bob Ney: Stress is a big factor. It's been ever increasing as we're on the treadmill, wondering how we're going to make it, even with both partners working. Technology and instant everything is another factor. People send insults online & things spread.

Bob Ney: The best example of stress is healthcare. When that was left up to the free market, people with preexisting conditions weren't covered or had to pay high premiums.

Jeff Bryant: The idea that public schools have failed us is a propaganda campaign. Right now we see a lot of parents being upset at school districts & teachers, wondering why they can't send their children back to school.

Jeff Bryant: Schools aren't equipped to reopen during the pandemic. We have teachers who have to buy their own PPE; some even buy it for their students, too. That's a failure of policy.

~Lifetime caps on out-of-pocket expenses would be gone. As someone w/ ten pre-existing conditions, I can tell you that one kidney surgery can get you to the maximum lifetime benefits.

We have a serious gun problem in this country.
As you know I've been helping my Teamster brothers and sister win their strike for health security, reasonable wages, and dignity on the job.
Tonight a scab truck driver called the police on the people walking the line.

His claim was someone said mean things to him yesterday as he crossed the line.
Nevermind the fact that I think this person is scab POS who I wouldn't piss on if he was on fire. I couldn't help think how fragile this scab is and makes me ashamed to be a middle aged white guy

So the police showed up and we were talking about what was going on, the strikers goals and expectation, how the picket line is set and so on. The scab driver pulls up to vent his anger at being inconvenienced and whine about being called a scab, which I immediately reminded
