Rick: A man speeding in snow in Utah said he was on his way to kill Claire McCaskill.
Bob Ney: There are goofballs everywhere, but it's just grown; it's part of American life. It's out there. @bobney
Bob Ney: Stress is a big factor. It's been ever increasing as we're on the treadmill, wondering how we're going to make it, even with both partners working. Technology and instant everything is another factor. People send insults online & things spread. @bobney
Bob Ney: The best example of stress is healthcare. When that was left up to the free market, people with preexisting conditions weren't covered or had to pay high premiums. @bobney
Bob Ney: It's a big stressor if you have kids and you can't get them healthcare. @bobney
Bob Ney: If you talked to white collar workers who weren't union & couldn't join a union for whatever reason, they were just as angry. You need to talk about people's anger & stress levels & channel it into workplace rights, union or not. #1u @bobney
Bob Ney: Political letter-writing scares the staff & gets things done. @bobney
Bob Ney: We were criticized heavily for this but that's why we have provisional ballots. They can delay an election. That's why there's a recount in GA, & it's within the grounds. If they want a recount in WI, they'd have to pay for it b/c it's not in the grounds. @bobney
Bob Ney: Up to Dec. 14 when the electors vote, the President can file legal motions but he doesn't need to stand there and say it's all fraud, that he was cheated. He has to file motions. @bobney
Bob Ney: I'm just stunned where Giuliani ends up at. At one point he was honorable. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt about the press conference...but I just can't. @bobney

Jeff Bryant: The idea that public schools have failed us is a propaganda campaign. Right now we see a lot of parents being upset at school districts & teachers, wondering why they can't send their children back to school. @jeffbcdm@BadassTeachersA
Jeff Bryant:This is being egged on by people who blame teachers' unions for the problems, but really it's the people in charge of policies who are to blame.
Rick: I want to make it clear I'm not blaming teachers or unions but the people who run schools @jeffbcdm@BadassTeachersA
Jeff Bryant: Schools aren't equipped to reopen during the pandemic. We have teachers who have to buy their own PPE; some even buy it for their students, too. That's a failure of policy. @jeffbcdm@BadassTeachersA
Rick: I gotta bust your shoes a bit--you said we'd have election results Tues night.
Joe Walsh: If they'd have counted the mail-in ballots first, we would have had the results right away. Instead, states like PA & WI counted them last. I was wrong about that. @WalshFreedom
Joe Walsh: I knew turnout would be through the roof, but I did not foresee Trump getting his people out as well as he did. I knew the opposition vote would be huge, but to Trump's credit, he got his vote out, too, which surprised me. @WalshFreedom
Joe Walsh: Trump owned rural America but the Democrats owned the suburbs. @WalshFreedom
Peter Morley: When people hear of the ACA, they think of the marketplace. It did help people gain access to healthcare for the first time. @morethanmySLE@USofCare#ProtectOurCare
Peter Morley: If the SCOTUS strikes down ACA:
~Protections of 135 million Americans w/ preexisting conditions would be gone
~Medicare donut-hole for prescriptions would be reopened
~Companies could charge women 50% more for insurance @morethanmySLE@USofCare#ProtectOurCare
Peter Morley: If the SCOTUS strikes down ACA:
~Lifetime caps on out-of-pocket expenses would be gone. As someone w/ ten pre-existing conditions, I can tell you that one kidney surgery can get you to the maximum lifetime benefits. @morethanmySLE@USofCare#ProtectOurCare
We have a serious gun problem in this country.
As you know I've been helping my Teamster brothers and sister win their strike for health security, reasonable wages, and dignity on the job.
Tonight a scab truck driver called the police on the people walking the line.
1/
His claim was someone said mean things to him yesterday as he crossed the line.
Nevermind the fact that I think this person is scab POS who I wouldn't piss on if he was on fire. I couldn't help think how fragile this scab is and makes me ashamed to be a middle aged white guy
2/
So the police showed up and we were talking about what was going on, the strikers goals and expectation, how the picket line is set and so on. The scab driver pulls up to vent his anger at being inconvenienced and whine about being called a scab, which I immediately reminded

Bob Ney: Was Ben Carson at events without a mask?
Rick: I haven't seen how he contracted COVID, but if anyone would know about being careful, wouldn't it have been the brain surgeon?? @bobney
Bob Ney: Biden & McConnell have known each other for a long time & have cut many, many deals together before. @bobney
Bob Ney: It's OK to have an election that isn't decided on Election Night. There is no direct path in this process; there are Boards of Election. Most of the time it's a great process. Is it perfect? No. Are there some irregularities? Yes. Enough to overturn election? No @bobney
David Yankovich: One of our biggest messages right now is that we're tired of all the anger, of all the BS, too. If we don't get into the Republican smear crap they're trying to push in GA right now--just imagine an entire year of this. @DavidYankovich
David Yankovich: I don't think the Republicans can win any state every again if it weren't for the disinformation. Trump is trying to push illegitimacy on Biden's winning--it's part of their strategy. We need to make sure candidates talk about the issues only. @DavidYankovich
David Yankovich: You have to have a healthy respect for the voters in Georgia. They have a whole different set of issues, a whole different set of beliefs there. @DavidYankovich
