Not mentioned: Yad Vashem's Labor-affiliated leadership has made myriad political decisions over the decades, like minimizing the prominent role of Revisionists in the Warsaw Ghetto uprising and covering up Kasztner's help for Hungarian Nazis.

Also worth noting that Avner Shalev was not a Holocaust educator before becoming chairman of Yad Vashem, and he did a very good job, so why is that a prerequisite now? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avner_Sha…
I've consistently spoken out against politicizing the Holocaust here and in other forums over the years. But saying the right-wing government can't make appointments that left-wing governments could in the past is politicizing AND delegitimizing.
A Likud appointee can do a good job just like a Labor appointee did.

In exchange for the normalization, fIsrael “will suspend declaring sovereignty over areas outlined in the President’s Vision for Peace and focus its efforts now on expanding ties with other countries in the Arab and Muslim world,” White House statement reads.

tl;dr No annexation
Diplomatic sources in the US and Israel say sovereignty in part of Judea and Samaria are NOT off the table, but that they are on pause for now, in order to facilitate the peace deal with the UAE and possibly more Arab countries.

So Susan Rice is apparently leading the race to be Biden's running mate. Not great news for Israel, definitely not for Netanyahu. She was a big proponent of the Iran Deal, and in many ways unfriendly.

Instead of talking to Jews, the targets of antisemitism, & educating himself, @NickCannon finds a guest to make excuses for it. It’s hard for me to believe he’d think it was OK if someone told him that not only is anti-black racism not a real thing, but also he’s not really black

For those of you (like me) who don't know a lot about old-school rap, the man Cannon is interviewing is called Professor Griff, who was kicked out of Public Enemy for making antisemitic statements. He is a member of Nation of Islam. Turns out Cannon also sympathizes with NOI.

#BREAKING Edelstein resigns as Knesset Speaker
Edelstein says the Supreme Court's decision this week "is not based on the language of the law but on a one-sided extreme interpretation" and is "destroying the Knesset's work...undermining the foundations of Israeli democracy."
"I will not let Israel deteriorate into anarchy," Edelstein says. "I will not be part of a civil war. I will act in the spirit of Menachem Begin, who in the days of the Altalena prevented civil war...We must unite."
