A lot of articles pointing out how "unity can win an election" based on how the left and centre unified to elect Biden yet these articles wag their fingers at the left. The left unified, huns. You said it yourselves. I agree with the sentiment but get some self-awareness.
I cannot describe how buoyed I am by Biden's win. I pointed out none of my misgivings about him in the months leading up to the election (haha VERY aware I'm a Brit with no vote). If centrists had treated the left the same here a year ago we wouldn't HAVE a Tory government.
I will ALWAYS understand issues people have with my specific ideologies to a point, I just wish they would extend that same understanding to the left. Solidarity, comrades.
And I've set it to no replies because tonight I'm not up for a ruck, I just wanna watch The Crown in the warm glow of the defeat of fascism.

THREAD: Every weekend @trecoolx @JaneCNolan @ArranNZ and ya ol' pal Sooz watch a dreadful movie over Zoom and last night it was the turn of 1994's Disclosure.

It's incredibly sexist but also SO WEIRD!
We open on a perfect family in their perfect family home. Michael Douglas is the dad and he has toothpaste on his tie and also his suit is really baggy and awful but that's probably a 1994 thing rather than anything to do with his character. His hair is like a lion's mane.
Donald Sutherland is his boss at the IT company (did I mention this film is VERY expensive? It's based on a book by Michael "Jurassic Park" Crichton and Barry Levinson directs!) and he's gonna retire and Michael Douglas reckons he will get promoted to head of CD-ROM stuff (1994).

WHOA! John Redwood has sent President Elect Joe Biden a letter warning him to fall in line over Brexit. OMG Biden's gonna absolutely shit himself!
Biden thought when he won the presidency it would be all plain sailing but he didn't reckon with getting a letter from ERG back bench-dweller ACTUAL JOHN REDWOOD!
Shiiiiiiit just heard that Biden is thinking of resigning after John Redwood's letter.
