2- I did a survey of 1071 BAME doctors in June 👇.

Results of the survey showed very worrying findings

It does appear that IMG & BAME doctors who studied medicine in UK Universities face similar challenges in NHS

3- BAME NHS doctors when asked if they ever felt pressurised to work without adequate PPE

UK Uni BAME drs 60% said YES
IMG BAME drs 64% said YES

6- In short there is evidence that IMGs & UK garduated BAME drs are facing similar challenges

maybe all of it can be explained by unconscious bias/ #NHSinstituionalracism or whatever you want to call the #NHSdiscrimination which no doubt exists

7- @TheBMA under stewardship of @CNagpaul @DavidGWrigley @helenamckeown etc etc are well aware of these issues & are actively taking practical steps to address them.
