Some thoughts on the Bandwagon Effect and Products ⬇️
Some communities on Twitter are a great example of the Bandwagon Effect.
The growth of brands like Apple, TikTok and Spotify can be attributed to the bandwagon effect.
Community ⭐️
To utilise bandwagon effect, founders could focus on being deliberate about community and how it mutates with growing members.
FOMO ⏰
Many founders create limited waitlists for early adopters. Life-time membership deals in the early stages for limited time.
Meaning ❤️
Consistently communicating meaning and values and reinforcing with aligned action.
Polarising
I’ve seen tweets along the line of if you target everybody you will attract nobody. Once you commit to a position that can naturally be polarising but can lead to a committed group of core users.
Referrals
Making it easy for people to not only share your community with friends but also communicate the values of the community and the value it provides its members
I come up with ideas and initial prototypes everyday. The real magic is in creating communities that are meaningful to people. You can “hack” that together it’s a slow and tedious process but is worth it in the long run.

I had to remove the request embed code and may also have to remove the contact form because the connection with Zapier requires a premium account and I haven't got that money.

Daily Webinars
Short daily webinars with E-Commerce brands to give them a chance to talk about their products and to showcase their products.
Could repurpose the content for the YouTube channel, IGTV and a Podcast
There are many ways to build your community for your product or service. Marketers use lead magnets to get more information on their potential users to turn them into sales leads. There are many kinds of magnets. We’re going to go over a few:
Free trail
This is probably the most common with SAAS platforms. A 7 day or 14 day trial. Once a user signs up you can continue to market to them through email campaigns.
I’ve been tweeting a lot more. I’ve been transparent about what I do and how I do #buildinpublic but not necessarily emotionally vulnerable.
That’s the hardest part is being emotionally vulnerable about the entrepreneurial process
Some self-reflection a thread ⬇️
Throughout my athletic career and my academic career I have failed a lot. Losing scholarships, cutting cut from teams and more. It’s helped me develop a unique outlook on failure that in many cases it’s unavoidable and to be expected.
This can come across pessimistic and makes me numb to failure but also success. It’s why I don’t even think about what is means to be successful. I try to just enjoy my process and bounce back from whatever comes next.
