There are many ways to build your community for your product or service. Marketers use lead magnets to get more information on their potential users to turn them into sales leads. There are many kinds of magnets. We’re going to go over a few:
Free trail
This is probably the most common with SAAS platforms. A 7 day or 14 day trial. Once a user signs up you can continue to market to them through email campaigns.
White Papers
This is often used in Business to Business context and is a deep dive into a problem based on in-depth research and often positions your solution as the answer.
Downloadables
Free ebooks are very common for the first touchpoint for marketing efforts. Many marketers curate content focused on a niche that educates the potential customer on a particular niche
Events
In-person or virtual events are a great way to build a community and begin marketing your service or product to an audience.
Evergreen Webinars
Evergreen Webinars are automated videos used to help a community solve a specific problem. They will have limit access and be exclusive to specific times.
Podcasts
Podcasts are a great way to speak to your community and people in the Industry you’re operating in. A call-to-action can prompt listens to subscribe to a newsletter for bonus content.
Blog
Blogging has been huge for a while and is still under-utilised by many makers. Just like podcasts a call-to-action can provide your community with bonus content and help you get them in your marketing pipeline.
Case Studies
These are success stories about people who’ve used a similar service as yours or people who’ve used your service. Downloadable as a pdf or sometimes displayed on your site.
Quizzes
Quizzes are a great way to gain information from potential community members. They may want to discover the answer to a question that can be formatted in a quiz.
There are a number of other ways to generate leads for your service. A lot of it is about experimentation and being consistent.

That’s the hardest part is being emotionally vulnerable about the entrepreneurial process
Some self-reflection a thread ⬇️
Throughout my athletic career and my academic career I have failed a lot. Losing scholarships, cutting cut from teams and more. It’s helped me develop a unique outlook on failure that in many cases it’s unavoidable and to be expected.
This can come across pessimistic and makes me numb to failure but also success. It’s why I don’t even think about what is means to be successful. I try to just enjoy my process and bounce back from whatever comes next.
How do we get young kids building and deploying solutions to problems using WhatsApp. Using only their mobile phone for building and building for mobile.
How do we get young kids building chatbots for Facebook only using their mobile phone.
I frequently post tools for no-code because I love helping people see their ideas come to life but today I’m going to share some graphic/video tools for NON DESIGNERS (great for your apps techies)
