President-elect @JoeBiden says now he hasn't ruled out bringing legal action against the GSA to get the transition underway c-span.org/video/?478269-…
"Hang on, I'm on my way," President-elect @JoeBiden says to a question over what msg he wants to send the American people as they watch the Trump WH deploy one failed legal maneuver after another.
"It's hard to fathom how this man thinks," @JoeBiden says of Trump. "I'm confident he knows he hasn't won... and I just you know...far from me to question his motive but it's just outrageous what he is doing."
President-elect Biden on prioritization of vax distro: "The idea of the brown, Black, Asian American, Native American communities are always the first ones hit the hardest, the last ones brought back - we're going to flip that around.
"It's going to be really important to determine priorities based upon access on everything from the vaccine to other opportunities to be able to deal with the part of the country that is hurt the worst," Biden adds.

Dr. Deborah Birx is at the Trump WH press briefing. Long time no see.
Pence wore a mask as he entered the room, took it off when he got to the dais to speak. Birx has kept her mask on from moment one. c-span.org/video/?478256-…

Physically distance.

Limit interactions indoor to immediate households during this level of community spread.
TODAY: Covid-19 rages through America. Over 10M people have a virus that could have damaging long term effects we don't yet fully understand. Despite this, GOPers come to SCOTUS today to dismantle ACA, the law protecting those with preexisting conditions. courthousenews.com/referendum-on-…
After oral arguments, President-elect @JoeBiden will at 2pm ET deliver remarks from Delaware on the Affordable Care Act and what his administration plans to do going forward.
On 495 heading South from Maryland to VA this afternoon, this was one caravan of Trump supporters that stretched for over 2 minutes. I counted at least 45 vehicles. Minutes before I saw a smaller caravan of similar adorned vehicles, totaling roughly 12. Pardon video quality.
I also observed anti-abortion protesters standing on an overpass. They stood above traffic near a banner asking Pres. Trump to save "pre-born" babies. Another vehicle I saw was covered in red painted handprints with pro-Trump messages scrawled on its rear window and trunk.
Many of the trucks and SUVs in the first caravan had hazard lights on and were driving 10-15 miles below the speed limit in middle most lane, causing traffic to bottleneck at times or force drivers to abruptly shift lanes as they came barreling up 495 at the usual 60mph.
Once in the 1990s my brother was a waiter in a small Mississippi town. Wearing a Star of David around his neck, he was often told to hide it unless he wanted trouble. He recalled to me once being asked by a patron "Are you a Jew, boy?"
My brother quickly and confidently responded "Nope!" & headed to the kitchen to hide his necklace. The restaurant was a Jim Crow era relic with a painted KKK long faded and chipped away on the building's back exterior. He distinctly recalled that. He knew better than to backtalk.
He quit a day later for fear of the man (or men) returning to the restaurant to beat him or worse. Small town. He played classical guitar and therefore was pretty well known by locals who enjoyed his playing. He had a big mop of curly black hair. He was 6'3. Hard to miss.
Coming up: SCOTUS oral arguments today in consolidated case US v Briggs, where justices will consider whether a 5 year statute of limitation on rape charges and convictions applies in the military. More to come later for @CourthouseNews.
Amicus from Congress supporting US: "The provisions in the USCMJ that address rape in the military have been understood for decades to reflect Congress’ intent that those who commit the crime of rape should not be permitted to escape justice by hiding behind the passage of time"
