1/4 The .@realDonaldTrump adminstration, especially @SecPompeo, @AsstSecStateAF and the US Ambassador in Addis Michael Raynor have given @AbiyAhmedAli the green light to commit war crimes in #Tigray.
2/4 They are giving him the diplomatic shield he needs while he is committing despicable atrocities on the people of #Tigray hoping he will be able to eliminate the TPLF. Saving Abiy for them is about saving the little liberal democracy project they have implanted in the Horn.
3/4 They are using the remaining one month they will stay in power to salvage what is left of what is otherwise a crumbling @AbiyAhmedAli's administration. Little do they know TPLF and the #Tigray people will survive this one way or another.
4/4 The approach the @realDonaldTrump administration will put the US reputation and credibility on the line.
