Master each area and become the model of virtue your family needs to prosper

Fail? Your journey will be painful

Principle 1: Moral

The only thing separating your family from the depravity of the modern world is YOU

Enemy media constantly pumps our households full of toxic messaging

Every day we're tempted to stray from what’s right and true, drifting ever further into darkness

How do you fight back? You must STAND for something

Write down your personal values, define them, and let them guide you to greatness

Your values determine the type of man you become

They inform your decisions and serve as signposts on your path

Strongly held values also inform your beliefs

Believe nothing and you’re are a fool

Believe everything and you’re a fool

But arrive at your beliefs through fearless searching, with your values as your guide?

The world opens up for the taking

Principle 2: Physical

The world is a dangerous place

And while it has become relatively safer over the preceding generations, that’s no excuse for your inability to physically protect your family

What would you do if your family was attacked?

Are you prepared?

It’s your duty as a father to be FORMIDABLE

You must be as strong as your genes will allow

You must know how to operate weapons

You must know how to fight

Everything you’ve worked for could be wiped out in an instant

The wages of complacency is death

Start right now, today, because it will take years to become sufficiently dangerous

Train with people stronger than you

Fight with people tougher than you

Frequent your local shooting range

Because one day it’s going to matter, and everything may well be on the line

Principle 3: Financial

Simply put: you cannot afford to be broke

Without the necessary precautions, all it takes is one emergency, medical or otherwise, and your family will be imperiled

A father's love alone will not pay the bills

So what can you do?

It isn’t complicated

Earn as much as you can

Spend as little as you can

Then diligently save and invest the difference

Pay yourself first every single day

Start while you’re young, develop the habit and it will never leave you

Automate as much of the process as possible

You’re blessed to live in an age where you can click a few buttons on your phone and secure your family’s future forever

A small dose of discipline will set you miles ahead of your peers, and that is a reward in itself

Principle 4: Emotional

A man must control his emotions

It’s the mark of an immature man to display his emotions indiscriminately

To raise his voice, to lash out

This man is not ready for leadership

If you can’t even manage yourself, how can you possibly manage others?

I am not suggesting you repress your emotions

Rather you must learn to control the time, place, audience, and manner of their expression

BIG DIFFERENCE

You can’t control how you feel

You can (and must) control how you react to those feelings

You will be tested as a father

You will face trials, adversities, and tragedies

Your family will look to you in these moments

Will they be comforted by your stability?

Or will they be swallowed whole by your unchecked emotional riptide?

Principle 5: Educational

The modern world is predicated on lies

We’re told black is white, up is down, ugly is beautiful

And if we don’t believe it? If we don’t conform? We risk the loss of status, livelihood, or worse

It’s your job to DISPEL these lies

It starts with YOU

It’s a long journey to the truth

But once you’ve found it? Never let it go

Internalize it, let it inform your decisions

Then TEACH it

You must be the light that leads the way

And you must shine so brightly that you snuff out the endless barrage of modernity's deceptions

Study, practice, teach

That is your directive
