I initially joined @Twitter inspired by @aiww ‘s powerful use of it as a political, political and artistic opponent of #China .
and because I wanted keep up with the people in Belgium who tweeted cat pictures and gifs to support each other while their area was been searched by police following the terrorist attack Nov 2018.

And now with >91.7k tweets from my account, I really value @Twitter as a highly efficient and fun way to keep up with my colleagues and scientific field, to follow and analyse international news and to lobby online for changes to matters closest my heart.

.@aiww my first everytweet was addressed to you as my son and I exited from your 2015 retrospective at the @royalacademy, shaken both by the astonishing aesthetic beauty of some your monumental pieces and by the power this gave to your political voice.
As you « liked » that T within seconds @aiww, entering us into into loose exchanges of RTs, likes & occasional laconic comments that continue to this day, I was immediately hooked. In 5 years I never looked back & you have remained an ethical, political & artistic inspiration.💋
